Big Ambitions, Small Steps
I had no idea what I was going to write about today until I opened up my computer and sat there for a minute and just thought about it. I'm tired, I'm stressed, I'm nervous, the list goes on. In reality, some days are great and some days are terrible. Some days I feel like I'm on top of the world and everything is going right and the others I'm borderline depressed. I never talk about anything like that but that's the truth. But you know what? Do you know what keeps me going day after day, failure after failure? My drive to build and my drive to succeed according to my own standards. Not some BS standard established by the society that I surround myself with nor what other people want and expect me to be. This is me. People can take it or leave it but this is it. What you see is what you get and I try and be as genuine as I possibly can all the time.

Interesting Enough
Interesting enough I am at the point of tearing down buildings and destroying planes, metaphorically of course. Through mindless weeks of feeding my (what already feels like) massive brain, and making ends meet. I guess you can say, “Welcome to Fucking Adulthood!” How exciting. My question is, what makes growing up look so cool throughout our childhoods? I would think freedom, but lets be real, that doesn’t really exist in this capitalistic country right now. Thinking, with my big brain, I suspect that materialistic marketing for many companies were in play; let me rephrase, replay.

Once Wrote a Play
Once Wrote a Play I wish it was still with me today This is the reality of the children who learned early on they had to focus on how to be happy in their own space. This was not just a need, it had to be prioritized in order for their mind to survive. When you have an imagination that is not only developed but also encouraged by a parent, the skies are the no-limits areas of life. This also includes the universal sky.

Chronicles of Lockdown
It’s no secret that we’ve all had various struggles this year (without mentioning the C word), and we have all had our own ways of navigating. Here in Melbourne, we have endured some of the toughest lockdown restrictions worldwide and in many ways, we will emerge better equipped from this. We’re still locked up in our homes and it has become kinda normal, as has the fashionable matching masks we have to wear or we are slapped with a monetary fine.

GETTING YOUR LIFE BACK ON TRACK
Have you ever had that epiphony moment? That moment when you're in bed, in a bus, cooking dinner, or most likely, sitting on the toilet and realise "damn I really need to get my sh*t together". Well, I've been having that all the time. But the problem is where do you start when trying to 'reset' your life? As a student, I usually always turn to studying and working; as an athlete, I try finding consistency with working out; as a human, I focus on my health and relationship with family and friends.

All humans hold a super power to shape their lives exactly how they want it.
I begin this path of creating a voice for my readers. To stir up the soul we so many times quiet. And, I find this amazing because when we speak of our experiences and CHOICES. We seem to say, the heart and mind don't ever match up. Therefore, we question our decisions. We seem to silence the part that has engrained knowledge. The term "Old Soul", that truly, is in all of us. As, though there is knowledge of something within before our brain catches up. So, why are we choosing to ignore this? Why are we choosing anything without realizing, we have total control of OUR choices. Wow, isn't that so powerful? The only thing we can control as humans, is OUR choices. We cannot control other humans, but, can completely shape and form our life exactly how we want it, based on our choices. This is not a, "How To" or easy tips to hone in on this powerful gift. It is just your wake up call.

Hesitation
I have indulged myself into a lot of hesitation recently, to the point that it has become a habit of avoidance. And you all know too well what it would lead one to, a rabbit hole of excuses. An adequate amount of rest is essential for one’s survival, however, an excessive amount of rest would turn into a drug that prevent you from moving forward. I know that this year has been excruciatingly difficult for the type of growth that we are all accustomed to, but despite all the fuss around feeling limited and trapped, it could also be viewed as a year of inner growth.

What's on the Other Side of This?
We all know what happens when we quit. We fall short, we lose, we fail. The answer is right there in front of us when we quit. We know exactly what's going to happen. Today, I want to talk about what happens when we decide to keep going. When we decide to push through our present struggles and see the bigger picture.
