What to Do When You Hit Rock Bottom
You've lost your job. Your boyfriend dumped you. The car won't start. Every day seems to bring on new stress. You have officially hit your all-time low in life. Could it get any worse? Is this my life now? This moment is considered rock bottom, and it is usually not seen as a blessing. We don't want to ever get to this point but, inevitably, we all hit it at one point in time. I'm here to tell you that, while it sucks, this could be the exact thing you needed. As the saying goes, there is nowhere to go but up.

Sick of Your Own Hesitation
For goddamn sake! Just get out and do it already. As you could maybe already tell, I am indeed really upset. I kind of hate how I never do the things I want to do most. You ever think about the fact that you might be sitting at home, as your 40-year-old self, still with the same ideas and dreams? While everyone around you seems to just do it. Like come on, Nike even said it first, just do it. Well, maybe... someday... not today. Fuck.

Life Is Hard
As humans, we have a tendency to hurt people. We hurt the people we encounter for a minute if we are unkind. We hurt the people we care about if we make a mistake and we hurt people we don't even know if the mistake we make has a ripple effect (which it almost always does).

The Voices in My Head
The voices in my head tell me that I'm not good enough... Should I believe them or do I need to make them leave? It started with my childhood, my dad was incredibly aggressive towards my mother. It made me think; is my mom not good enough for him? Why would he do that all the time? But then I thought; my mom is the prettiest woman that I have ever seen in my entire life.

Control Over Yourself
Trial and error, that's what our imperfect world has to offer. Trial and error, the building of self ... I'm currently reading Human, All Too Human by Nietzsche (that plus other books I keep rotating through the course of my studies this semester). I must say, that there is nothing more rejuvenating than reading a book, educating yourself and having a deep knowledge of things that are easily ingestible, whilst building yourself is as important as building a house. Quite recently I changed my perception on life, my values changed and the resentment I had diminished. Having core values ingrained and once faced with harsh reality, you're bound to rebuild yourself. Sometimes that might not be the case, sometimes our emotions get the best of us. Don't let your emotions get the best of you, exercise your mind and meditate, learn to control the personal attacks. This has been personally hard for me, but it gets better with practice. Understand you can do and be whatever ... You could be the animal you are scared to be. Free yourself into the realms of your mind and you will move with so much grace. These social constructs young people inflict on you. Fuck that, you are so much better than the disillusioned. Competence is the road to the competition that is the world. The world is not going to babysit you, it’s going to throw rocks at you, spit on you, and when shit gets easier ... The more hurdles you are going to have to face. The brain can adapt with the more experiences and dangers you put yourself into.

Fear's Favorite Food. Top Story - February 2019.
Facing fear is something we have all had to deal with. The fear to do ... The fear not to do ... The fear of success ... The fear of failure ... We all face different fears in our life. Yet there are ways in which we either increase or diminish our fears. We don't have to let them control us but this can very much be the case. Often we find that, if we are not careful, we may end up strengthening the very things are afraid of.

3 Tips to Being Happier
There we were, sitting at the kitchen table. My toddler and I in a stalemate over an important decision, whether or not to eat dinner. On this day, like many others, it was apparent that things were not going well for my toddler, and he was overwhelmed by his situation. With no way out, he chose to sit and pout. He was clearly not happy, and there was nothing that was going to change his mind. Then we tried something that may have changed dinner forever…

Win or Learn, Never Lose
Well, to be honest, I'm not much of a writer. I live most of my life of spontaneity and improvisation. Anyways, I wanted to share a silly, yet simple idea that I like to always keep in mind. It's as simple as understanding that there is no such thing as losing in life. Sounds ridiculous I know, let me explain.

Your Heart Knows the Path to Your Dreams...
The very last lesson of enlightenment, before you clear your mind, body, and spirit for complete and absolute healing, is self love. When you get to this aspect of healing, expect tears. Lots and lots of fucking tears. This is where you push forward despite all your fears and all the people who are against you and all of the people who have ever challenged you. It's when you tear yourself right down the middle. The old version of you and the past that is contained within you dies, and the emotional death is way worse than anything you ever imagined. Instead of leaning into and giving into death, you begin searching and scanning your entire life for even one single reason to stay living. Enlightenment is tough, dude. We've been through a lot. All of us have. Look at the veil of conditioning that this planet has carelessly thrown over our eyes. It's so thin, yet it has skewed our vision so much that we would actually rather DIE than face our emotional healing.

Welcome to My World
Hello Readers, I wanted my first story to explain a little about myself as well as to give a bit of a base to my future stories. If anyone has any personal questions, would like to ask for advice, or have any topics you would like me to talk about please feel free to email me and I will get back with you as soon as I can. The photos I provide can be either quotes I found or personal pictures I took myself. As of right now I will stay away from anything that involves myself or my family photo wise. Once I have reached a place where I feel comfortable to show my face maybe one day my dog (my fur child), then I will write a piece about that and include pictures. Please understand that and be patient.
