Supporting Small Business Owners
Looking for ways to boost your wellbeing?

Wellness Event For Small Businesses
On Thursday 20th May 2021, the ASBAS Digital Solutions program will be delivering Remotivate, Reengage, Revitalise, a one-day event designed to enhance the wellbeing of Victorian small business owners.
This virtual event will empower participants with motivation tools and mindfulness practices to help them recharge and refocus in the wake of lockdown
The schedule has been tailored to offer both professional and personal support, covering goal setting, developing a self-care plan, and rebranding. There will be a panel of business owners and experts discussing business response and recovery, and a narrative meditation delivered by Indigenous earth connection practitioners Wayapa Wuurrk.
The ASBAS Digital Solutions program has been supporting small business owners in metropolitan and regional Victoria since mid-2019, delivering workshops, webinars, one-on-one mentoring, and online learning. This mindfulness event acknowledges the unique challenges presented by COVID-19 with session topics that keep wellbeing front of mind.
“Victorian small business owners are resilient and enduring,” says ASBAS Digital Solutions Program Manager Vivian Vo. “This event will offer them the space to take a much-needed breath and view their business through fresh eyes.”
Tickets are $20 and all proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Black Dog Institute, an Australian medical research institute that aims to create a mentally healthier world for everyone. In purchasing a ticket to the event, participants will support world-class research into mental illness and suicide prevention, high-quality clinical care and online treatments; and evidence-based education programs for health professionals and schools.
To attend, participants must register for the ASBAS Digital Solutions program via an online registration form. Eligibility requires participants to be operating a for-profit business in Victoria with under 20 full-time equivalent employees. Businesses must have an ABN.
The ASBAS Digital Solutions program is an Australian Government initiative that is being delivered throughout Victoria by Melbourne Innovation Centre.
