Support Someone

We are in this together, no one should ever feel alone!

By Eden APublished 5 years ago 3 min read

I think it's always important to help someone when they need help and ask for it. That's number 1! Well-being is so important. You might be thinking, why should I help someone? I'm not trained and I'm not a therapist! To help a person you don't need to be trained or be a therapist. Anyone can just help and listen to someone, it changes a big part of someone else's life. Even if you don't think you can, I believe in you and I know you can. Be positive and open with someone. If you are positive then you are confident.

I myself, struggle with a lot of mental health issues. I feel always so depressed and some of the time I feel so lonely and drained. But, if you reach out for support, trust me it will help and make you feel better! So many people are here for you no matter who you are, even if you are a stranger. I know I have love ones who care about me, even though I just think I don't. I have fans and people who love me. You all do even if you don't think that. Guess what, we are all insecure at times and there are times and that's okay. Ever since I started to work out more and talk and do the things I love doing--it made me better! I'm a happier person now, and I'm grateful.

This situation doesn't stop me from helping others. I love helping someone when they need help and when they are sad or just in general needing someone supporting them or to talk to. Whatever that is, I'm here for everyone. I know that everyone should feel safe, loved, and valid, no matter who you are and what you look like! You all are important and unique. If we all looked the same, spoke the same and felt the same, I don't blame you if you think life will be pretty boring, that is boring! We need change.

In March 2020 right when we started to get into a lockdown, I began thinking and made an Instagram for people to vent and I got my trained listeners award on 7 cups. Then I made an Instagram account called "friendly support" and you can find me if you search that. I helped so many people and now they do believe that they are loved and special, no one deserves to die, ever! Don't be afraid to reach out, especially to me! But, I'm NOT a therapist, only a trained listener from 7 cups. Focusing on mental health is really important because we all have our good and bad mental health.

We all struggle in different ways, but we all are here together getting through the pain. Talking to someone is always helpful, after that try paying it forward which means do the same thing to someone else, now it will go around the whole world, everyone will be grateful and happy. Some days we could be feeling down and some other days we can feel very pumped up. I wish people in the world did what I did and were kind, not selling drugs and forcing people to do things that they don't want to do, it's harsh!

I'm trying to publish a book about suicide and depression, this is sharing stories so people know they aren't alone. No one needs to be alone. Try something and maybe if you don't give up you will be able to achieve your goal. I love working out, sometimes it makes me feel better. The good ones are looking over you.

The moral of this story is: always be yourself and try helping someone one day, you are not alone! People need you and care about you, so please don't die, and feel free to look back at this. I'm an ambassador for a brand called "Suvvr" focusing on mental health and does what I mostly just said here, you can look them up at suvvr.store and you can message me anytime for my ambassador code. As SUVVR says- "We feel you, We are you, We see you and we hear you".
