She Once
She once was able to hustle and bustle all through the house,
like a grey mouse being chased by a hungry cat
She once was busier than the yellow and black bees, now she can no longer fly
She once saw through rose colored glasses, now it all is black
She once had chased all the colors of the rainbows, now she is blue
She once lived a truly peachy life, now her dreams are colorless
She once knew her life would be golden, now she only feels old and done in
She once spent her days in colors of red, yellow and orange, now she spends them in bed
She once loved all the colors of her life, now she dreads the long days
She once lost her spark to the darkness of Fibromyalgia, now she has let some light in
She once felt black and blue for herself, now she feels there might just be some hope
She once saw a bleak future after Fibromyalgia, now she sees there are some colors
She once thought her life would be special, now she knows she must search harder to see all the colors of the rainbow
