Quest to Success:

Detoxing the Body, Mind & Soul

Before we start, let's take a moment to clear your mind, relax, and refresh your thoughts. How many of us desire wealth and success? How many of us seek for a better lifestyle for our body, mind and soul? How many of us are willing to do whatever it takes to live a better lifestyle for our body, mind and soul in order to achieve wealth and success? These are all relative questions you should be asking yourself everyday if you're serious about your quest to success.

Living a successful life isn't a cake walk. You have to really work, and work hard for it. Believe it or not, the path towards a successful life all starts with detoxing your body, mind, and soul of toxins and negative energy. A great way to do that is by simply being more conscience of what you're putting inside of your body and mind. If you are to feed your body poor quality food, overtime you'll see a decline in your energy and performance. It's the same concept with our minds. If you feed/surround yourself with negative energy, overtime, you will see a decline in your mental health and performance. You need to give your body & mind the essential nutrients and exercise it needs to operate healthy and efficiently. Quitting or reducing bad habits like nicotine and alcohol, getting on a workout routine, eating/drinking less processed foods/drinks will help rekindle your body, mind & soul back to nature. One must be rich in soul before they can expect to be rich in life.

So, figuratively speaking, what's the difference between a "goal" and a "dream"? A "dream" is a vision you have for yourself or someone else; it is a persons desired ambition or aspiration towards something. For example, it could be aspiring to pursue your dream career, a promotion, accumulating wealth, living a better lifestyle, eating healthier, reaching a desired weight-the list goes on. A "goal" is an obstacle, or objective, or desired result of a person's dream or aspiration. The best way to put it is "goals" are like the stepping stones; they are the obstacles that one must set and overcome in order to move closer towards achieving their dream(s). One must train themself on how to effectively take target of their goals, take aim, and execute them.

Now, let's open up our notes/notepad and I would like for you to make a list of your dreams and then set some achievable goals for those dreams. They can be short and long term dreams or goals. Take your time to really think about it. I encourage you to do this part, many of us may know that life can quickly take over and more than often our responsibilities will outweigh our dreams and desires which can sometimes lead to demotivation or even worse: depression. Those two conditions are what I like to call, killers of success. I think it's fair to say that sometimes we can be our own worst critic-so you owe it to yourself to make a list of your dreams/goals to use as motivation and a constant reminder of what you're ultimately trying to accomplish! After that, I would like for you to make a list of all the things that are holding you back from reaching your goals and accomplishing your dreams. Once you're done ask yourself this question: are they explanations or excuses?

Before one can continue on their quest to success they must possess eternal confidence in themself. One must understand that nothing in this life is impossible. Anything, if wanted badly enough, can be within your reach. Nobody is immune to failure, and in order to win you're going to need to believe in yourself more than ever; so embrace yourself. You must eliminate all of the excuses, procrastination, bad habits &/or negative energy out of your routine. You must completely restructure your "9-5" mentality and start thinking on an entrepreneurial perspective. There is more to this life than what meets the eye; life is like a rubix cube, there are many different angles, perspectives and strategies to it. Once a person has cleansed their body, mind and soul of all toxins, processed foods, bad habits, negative energies, excuses, procrastination, and doubt, congratulate & reward yourself. But the quest to success is far from over, it has only just begun. Every day for the rest of your life you will make a decision; will you choose success? or will you choose to keep yourself suppressed?

Time is of the essence, so choose wisely.
