Are you having the problem of self-doubt. Read some methods to overcome self-doubt.

Almost everyone who has dared to do something different, tried something new or started walking towards his or her ambitions have experienced self-doubt, fear of failure and lack of confidence. Confidence covers a big part of human personality and in fact a lot of interviewers while hiring employees look specifically for it. It's not just the skills but also how you think about yourself matters.
Self-doubt not only shows that you doubt in your abilities but it can also become a determining factor for you to believe in others as well. And while you may think that you are playing it safe by not taking chances, someone else is taking them and you are missing many great opportunities. A lot of people who fear failure don’t even start doing things as they are more sure of losing than gaining something. A lot others give up midway through as they see situations getting harder. So in this article, I am going to share with you, some of the best tips that you can follow whenever you feel that you are doubting yourself or your abilities. Have a look:
How to Overcome Self-Doubt
Stop Overthinking
I have a great example to start with the explanation, remember each morning when you are in
your bed fighting/debating/discussing/reasoning/talking with yourself on whether you should get out of bed or stay in for a few more minutes and most of the times you find yourself running late. I am pretty sure you get annoyed at yourself later for deciding to stay in bed and later everyone, even us, end up blaming your laziness for it. Well it is not your laziness, it is your overthinking.
The more thought you will give to it the more you are going to settle for less action and more comfort. These thoughts grow strong when you give them more time in your mind. Similarly if you are doubting yourself then these negative thoughts are not going to help you. So the first step to get out of this dungeon is to stop overthinking.
Talk it Out
If you are feeling overwhelmed due to certain things or about the situation then it is best to give some time to yourself and talk it out with a friend. Choosing whom to talk with can be a bit tough as most people are in so much of rush that they neither know when to stop nor when to listen. Some people are comfortable with their parents while others are with their partners or friends, it’s totally up to you, you can even pick a stranger if you feel that he or she is eager to listen to you.
7Cups is an incredible online community of thousands of trained volunteers and medical professionals who are there to lend an ear. They believe that a lot of problems, issues and even stress can be resolved if you have a willing ear. They believe in empathy rather than sympathy and that’s their philosophy.
Jot Down
Keep a notebook and start writing at the end of each day about what all happened, how you felt, was there any time when you felt overwhelmed, what was it, what did you do, what could have been done better, etc. All these questions will help you reach many answers which you may have missed in the heat of the moment. It is when you ponder over the situations later on, you get the best answers. I have experienced it first hand and know how it feels to find your brain shut down when you need it the most.
Set Smaller Goals
You may have faced a lot of failure in the past and all of that may have forced you to think and doubt about your own skills and abilities. Goals should always be tough to achieve, I agree to that but if it is too tough then one may just give up on the way. The best way would be to break down the process in small parts and fragments to simple things out. Keep the eye on the final goal but make small targets or set milestones every week or month that are achievable and they will help you to stay on the path of your ultimate goal.
You can also read self help books, quotes and try listening to motivational speakers, basically gather all the positivity around you. You will feel good and remember to relax. Living with discipline creates a lot of tension in mind and body so anyone with a goal and mission in mind should relax once in a while. The idea here is to give yourself a break, rest and time for you to process all of it. Even if you are facing setbacks in the process but if you are walking with a calm mind then you surely will have a positive perception and not an emotional reaction to everything you encounter or clash with.
Hope it helps.
