PAIN OF CHILDLESS COUPLE

TRUE LOVE STORY

By MANOJ KUMARPublished 3 years ago 4 min read

Once upon a time, in a small town in India, there was a couple named Pallavi and Rakesh. They were happily married and had been trying to have a child for years. Unfortunately, they were unable to conceive despite their best efforts. Pallavi and Rakesh tried every possible treatment and visited the best doctors, only to find that Pallavi has a damaged fallopian tube due to excess medicine being taken unknowingly, and she will not be able to conceive in the normal way. They tried all possible infertility treatments. Fortunately, once fertility treatment was successful. After 2 weeks of her confirmation, the doctor informed them that they were going to become parents of twins. Twin confirmations normally happen in fertility treatment. Pallavi and Rakesh were in heaven. Week by week keeps on passing. Both were enjoying being the expected parents. On the 27th week, it was monsoon season. Rain has been going on for the last three days. All roads were full of water. At midnight, Pallavi started feeling uneasiness as the water was leaking out of her uterus. Both were in a panic and could not understand what to do. They called their driver, but due to heavy rain, he was unable to reach them immediately. The hospital was nearly two hours' drive from them. They reached the hospital delayed by five hours. The doctor attained Pallavi and decided to go for a C-section as the whole water had leaked out. Unborn babies were in danger.

C-sections were done. Twins child were born. One baby and one boy. Pallavi and Rakesh were very happy. But doctors were not comfortable with the health of the child as they had been in the womb without water for almost four hours. Both children were shifted to Intensive care under the supervision of expert doctors and nurses. But God had another plan for them. 2nd the day of their born Baby passed away. Pallavi and Rakesh were in shock. Similarly, Boy passed away on the 6th day. It was very painful to face this for both of them. But nothing can do, it's all God wish. God only knows what is best for us.

After that, they three times again for infertility treatment but could not succeed. They even explored the option of adoption. But despite their efforts, they were still unable to become parents.

Pallavi and Rakesh were heartbroken. They felt incomplete without a child in their lives. They watched as their friends and family members started families of their own, and they felt left behind. It was as if the whole world was moving forward, and they were standing still.

Pallavi had always dreamed of becoming a mother. She longed to hold a baby in her arms, to see her child's first steps, and to watch them grow up. Rakesh, too, had always wanted to be a father. He imagined playing catch with his children, teaching them how to ride a bike, and sharing all the joys of fatherhood.

But those dreams seemed out of reach. The pain of being childless was overwhelming for Pallavi and Rakesh. They felt like they were failing each other and their families. They were constantly reminded of their struggle every time they saw a baby or a pregnant woman. They tried to put on a brave face and go about their daily lives, but the pain was always there, lurking beneath the surface.

Their family and friends tried to console them, but they didn't understand the depth of their pain. They would often say things like "you can always adopt" or "maybe it's just not meant to be." Some suggested to re-marry but Rakesh was in deep love with Pallavi. He did not want a child at cost of his love Pallavi. But those words didn't ease Pallavi and Rakesh's pain; they only made it worse. They keep on visiting churches, temples, Gurudwara, and mosques to please God. Nothing worked out.

One day, Pallavi saw a little girl playing in the park. The child was laughing and playing with her mother, and Pallavi couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy. She watched as the mother hugged her daughter and felt a rush of pain in her heart. It was as if the universe was mocking her.

Pallavi couldn't hold back her tears any longer. She cried and cried, feeling like she would never be able to experience that joy herself. Rakesh held her close, trying to comfort her, but he felt just as helpless as she did.

Over time, Pallavi and Rakesh's relationship became strained. The constant pressure of trying to conceive, the endless appointments with doctors, and the pain of being childless took a toll on them. They started to drift apart, and their once-happy marriage was in danger of falling apart.

One day, Pallavi went to see a therapist. She poured out her heart to the therapist, telling her about the pain and the disappointment she felt. The therapist listened patiently and offered her a new perspective. She encouraged Pallavi to find meaning and joy in other areas of her life and to focus on the things she could control, rather than the things she couldn't.

Pallavi took the therapist's advice to heart. She started to volunteer at a local charity and discovered a new sense of purpose in helping others. She also started to take up new hobbies and explore her own interests. Rakesh noticed a change in her; she seemed happier and more fulfilled.

Rakesh, too, started to make changes in his life. He focused on his career and started to pursue new opportunities. He also started to take care of himself better, going to the gym and eating healthier. As they both started to find joy and fulfillment in other areas of their lives, their relationship began to improve.

Years went by, and Pallavi and Rakesh never did have children. But they learned to accept their situation and find happiness in their own way. They became closer than ever and cherished the life they had together. They didn't need a child to complete them; they had each other.
