When I was a child, I lived in a small town in the countryside with my parents and four siblings. We didn't have much, but we had each other, and that was enough. My parents worked hard to provide for, even though my father was a government employee, Money was always tight, and I knew that if I wanted a better life, I would have to work hard for it.
I was always a dreamer. Even as a child, I would lie in bed at night and imagine a better life for myself. I would dream of living in a big house, driving a fancy car, and being able to provide for my family without worrying about money. But as I grew older, those dreams started to feel more and more distant.
After finishing high school, I got a job at a courier company working long hours for minimum wage. I didn't mind the work, but I knew that it wasn't what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. So, in my free time, I started to teach myself. I had always been fascinated by the sea, and I knew that if I could join on Merchant Navy, I could make a good living for myself.
It wasn't easy. I didn't have anyone to teach me or enough money to shift to the metro city, so I had to rely on online resources and local guidance. But I was determined to make it work. I spent hours every day and night reading books & practicing on juggar simulators, typing away at the keyboard, learning everything I could about sea jobs.
After a few months of hard work, with the support of my mother & elder sister, I landed first time in the metro city where I could have fulfilled my dreams. It was a very hard and striving journey to live & study in a metro city, but my dream gave me the confidence I needed to keep going. I started working with various small jobs to maintain my expenses as well as arrange money more and more so that, I can do preparation for the necessary examinations and various courses to join my dream job. and before I knew it, I was making more money from my work than I was thinking.
I knew that if I wanted to turn my dreams into reality, I had to take a risk. So, I quit my job and started preparing and appearing for examinations and doing the necessary training for my own dream. It was scary, but I knew that if I worked hard enough, it could be the start of something great.
And finally, I got selected and went on my maiden voyage. I started loving it so much that with complete dedication and hard work, I rose to a senior position, getting good money. I started collecting the money for my future endeavor
After a while, I left sailing and joined the shore-based MNCs company as an office job for almost 12 years so that I could learn about the business related to the off-shore marine business. There I got a chance to learn the policies of business, rules, regulations of government authorities, vendors, areas in which I have to work, costing, and finance. With lots of experience, I started my own company related to the work that I had dreamed. It was my own shipping company and purchased my first baby, yes, my first small ship. Though it was risky, I was determined to do it. And it was. With time My business grew quickly, and before I knew it, I was hiring employees and working on projects for big-name clients. From one ship to 2nd ship. Even started hiring of other ships also for my business growth. I was living my dream, but I never forgot where I came from. I made sure to give back to my community, donating money and time to local charities and organizations.
As my business grew, so did my wealth. I was making more money than I ever thought possible, but I never lost sight of what was important. I was able to provide for my family, and I made sure to never take that for granted.
But even with all of my success, I knew that there was still more I could do. I started investing in real estate, buying and renovating properties in my hometown. I wanted to give back to the community that had given me so much, and I knew that by investing in the town, I could help create jobs and improve the local economy. Slowly entered the civil and mechanical construction business and with God’s grace and the support of my employees I gain momentum in my business.
Years went by, and my business continued to thrive. I was able to buy my dream house, travel the world, and give back to those in need. But even with all of my success, I never forgot where I came from. I still felt like the same humble kid from a small town in the countryside, and I never lost my drive to keep pushing forward. During this period of my own business, I made a huge loss of money, property, and images also but I never quit. I keep on bouncing back with more determination and fighting spirit and at last, I used to make it to my expectations. Sometimes you lose hope and in the next moments, you feel like you have everything.
Looking back on my journey, I realize that the key to success is not just hard work and dedication, but an unbreakable spirit. There were times when I felt like giving up when I felt like my dreams were too far out of reach. But I never gave up. I kept pushing forward, even when things were tough.
And that's the message I want to share with others. No matter where you come from and always trust in your dream and God.
