What’s your name and where are you from?
My stage name is VenoWorld, I’m from a small town in upstate New York where there are not a lot of opportunities to flourish. Coming from a diverse city where the majority of the residents come from low socioeconomic drove my perseverance and motivation. I moved to Atlanta, GA when I was 17 to continue my pursuit of a better life as an entrepreneur accomplishing my life goals with my career, experiences, and business endeavors.
Why do you love what you do?
I’ve always had a love for music because it’s therapeutic for me. Especially because I didn’t necessarily have the best upbringing. Most of the time we struggled to make ends meet which resulted in turning to the streets as a means to put food on the table & pay the bills. In high school, I risked my life every day with my family just to make a living because a 9-5 was not enough to feed a house of 9 people plus a dog. This is why I feel like making music is a great way to express yourself to let people get a better understanding of where you come from.
What makes you different?
What makes me different from other artists is my authentic sound. I have a unique voice and vibe when I make music. I speak from the heart with my originality. I don’t try to be like someone I’m not. I’m genuine inside and out. Growing up in a low-income environment most people who make music just talk about sex, money, murder, and a life they never carried out. I talk about my struggles too but I wanna talk about them in a way that will hopefully uplift someone and make them look at life differently.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In five years I see myself becoming something great in the industry by uplifting other artists who have similar backgrounds as me so we can all thrive and change the direction of music entertainment to a more genuine industry. I see myself living a fulfilled life and taking care of my family so we no longer have to struggle and wonder where the next meal is going to come from.
What do you want to accomplish in life?
I want to become successful in the music industry, graphic design industry, and everything else I choose to indulge in. I want to give back to the less fortunate because I know how it feels to not have anything. I grew up in a single-parent household because my dad was incarcerated most of my life. As a result, we ended up struggling a lot and moving almost every year and sometimes several times in one. Because of that, I want to build housing centers and make future development plans for people to better themselves and their situations.
What do you bring to your industry?
I bring realism and purity to the industry. A unique sound and vibe. I’m authentic and don’t try to be like someone I’m not. Most people nowadays try to per tray a life that they never lived and oftentimes get caught up in fabrications. I’m confident in everything I do and bring versatility to the industry through my music. Most people nowadays just talk about the same things. I think it’s a good idea to switch it up and talk about other things as well like love, relationships, building something great, and much more
What do you want to be remembered for?
I want my legacy to be remembered for my music, art, authenticity, & free spirit. When I die I want my music and art to still inspire and motivate people as if I’m still here with them. When someone listens to me I want the listener to feel like I am there with them, like we are going through everything together. I want them to feel like they can overcome anything when my voice comes on.
