What's your name and where are you from?

My name is LeChadrien Cole artist name Shay Cole. I was born in Silsbee,Texas and has lived in between Kountze,Texas and Beaumont,Texas my entire life.

Why do you love what you do?

I love writing and recording music, because my music is based on my thoughts and emotions. When you write your thoughts and emotions on paper, paper can't talk back to ridicule you. And recording the music gives me the opportunity to tell the world who I truly am as a person. It's a great coping mechanism for me.

What makes you different?

The thing that makes me different and separates me from other artist is, my music changes with my thoughts and feelings. I like to see people dance and have a good time, so every now and then I'll record something for the club that'll get the women up and on their feet dancing to the beat. I'm also a person that has been through alot in life and I understand that people get down and depressed, so I like to record motivational and inspirational music as well. I also have an infatuation with spirituality so I record spiritual music as well for all of those people that believe in a Higher Power, but just don't go to Church. I tend to use certain music to draw certain crowds to me in hopes that I can help someone through my music in the end. It's all about the message for me.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Five years from now I see myself married with my kids living a happy and prosperous life. At this moment I'm working hard to build generational wealth for my family. I see myself owning my own music label, owning my own clothing line, and telling my story to the youth in hopes that they'll listen and do better with their life than I did. I plan on being a positive influence to the world.

What do you want to accomplish in life?

I'm a person that believes every human being on earth has their own designated purpose for being here, so I want to accomplish everything that God would have for me to accomplish in li

fe. I'm a big dreamer and I believe that dreams do come true, so I strive to do my part to make sure my dreams do come true. Working on self to be a better person in life was a great accomplishment for me on this journey, and it was through that I learned the sky is no limit as long as I continue to believe in God, myself, and have faith.

What do you bring to your industry?

I bring style, true talent, and a positive message to the music industry. Some would like to call my music hypercritical, but I don't see it that way. I can only give to the world my true authentic self.

What do you want to be remembered by?

When I'm dead and gone I want my kids to know and remember everything that I went through on this journey, so that they'll know, they're capable of being and doing whatever it is in life they want to be or do as long as they keep God first and work hard at it. I want the world to remember me for the music I put out, and how I helped people get through trying times in life. I want them to remember all of the good and the bad, because I had to go through the bad in order to get to the good, and all of it played a role in making me the man I am today. I want my parents to remember me for being a very hard working man that never gave up on life, and never gave up on self. No matter what I went through I kept fighting to be somebody in life. Memories are all we have in life, and I want to be one of those memorable people.
