Meet Onlybanx

What’s your name and where are you from? My name is onlybanx, I am from the state of Ohio. In Springfield about an hour away from Columbus. I also have resided in Los Angeles California as well as Pittsburg Pennsylvania. All across my country. Each one of these places have developed my sound and who I am today as a musician.

Why do you love what you do?

I love what I do because it allows me to share my struggle and successes with the world for people to relate to. I was given a gift from god, when I make music it makes me feel like this is what I am supposed to be doing and what I am meant to do for the rest of my life. Everyone has a gift and a purpose they will find in life. I know that this is mine. I don’t think that anyone should waste their life doing something that isn’t 100 percent for them, I feel that will result in dissatisfaction in ending days. Life will always include activity that you know isn’t what you are meant to be doing as long as you are doing it with the intention to get closer to everything you want to become. If you do not love what you do in the end there is no point in doing it.

What makes you different?

I’d say I am different because of the unique talent I have to create music like no one else in the world! I am different because of how hard I grind. How dedicated I am to changing my life with the music that I create. I work fast. I have an ear to distinguish a hit record compared to something I think that won’t do well in this industry. I can make back to back songs in the matter of 10 minutes a piece. I will be very influential for every artist that is to come after my rise and success.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In 5 years I see myself at the top of the music industry with the platform to influence the world, more than the people that listen to my music! I want to start a record label to sign artist that I believe have the same potential as I do to create. I want to start a recreation center in my city and move forward from that to open them across my country. I want to open a safe space for the youth that go through what I went through and worse in life to offer a feeling of security and acceptance.

What do you want to accomplish in life?

My biggest goal in life is for people to realize that the struggle is okay, and that there are many ways to over come obstacles you face to become anything you want with no limits to it.

What do you bring to your industry? I bring to the music game a new sound of melody and real rap feel that I believe no other musician has tapped into.

What do you want to be remembered by? I want to be remembered by my talent and my help to everyone. As well as an image that anything is possible. I am special for the things that I am able to do in a lovable manner. I want to change the lives of many people across the world! I want to be remembered as an artist who’s music will never grow old and can be passed on to many, many generations after ours.
