What’s your name and where are you from? My name is KV and I’m from a small town Butner , North Carolina

Why do you love what you do? Music was my comfort place through the best times and the worst times. It’s so exciting making music that gives each listener good vibes and energy. From being a Producer , Writer & Artist ; it makes me happy knowing I can touch a listener through my art. Also , being a father; watching my daughter share similar traits artistically I had at her age made me grow a deeper love for what I do. It feels good to know she’s learning from me at such a young age .

What makes you different? Honestly, my creative space and how I put my all in each record I either produce or record. I take my time with each record because music is art . Through my years of evolving my craft I carried inspirations from each one of my favorite artists and producers like Dr. Dre , Drake ,

J Cole , Eric Bellinger, Chris Brown , Prince , Micheal Jackson ,Tank , Jamie Foxx , Future , Anthony Hamilton , Elhae , Travis Scott , Jodeci , New Edition , Hitmaka , Metro Boomin , J Dilla , Murda Beats , Hit - Boy , J Manifest and more . Also just wanting to make music that captures the ear & the feelings of the audience.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? In five years , I see myself in very good place in the music industry collaborating with many artist I grew up listening to or being in the same rooms as them . I can also see myself breaking records and making history through success of upcoming projects . Since a teenager I’ve always dreamed of being very successful in the music industry and performing in big venues with the biggest stars.

What do you want to accomplish in life? One of my biggest accomplishments is winning a Grammy! Yea I know some will think that’s very demanding for a new kid on the block . I just believe in doing the impossible because of situations I faced beating the odds . Of course I want to receive other awards & make the Billboard charts , even hit Number 1 multiple times . But my biggest one is giving back ! There’s so many young & talented creators that need a ear or someone to notice them . As my career progress I would love host several showcases even build a institution that gives basic education and next level training for upcoming creators , actors, producers , artists , writers , etc. My reason why is remembering the opportunities I had to express my artistic abilities while receiving my education & having a big heart for future leaders of the next generation. What do you bring to your industry? Different varieties & good energy!! I want to bring back making music that makes everyone feel good and feel so much love or music they can relate to while telling my story through my voice or 808s . What do you want to be remembered by? I want to be remembered as a man from a small town that didn’t give up but gave his all in his craft…. A humble man with a big heart for music, his daughter, the world and the next generation. My first three singles , “Old Ways” , “Forever” , “Ride or Die” drop Feb 14th on all streaming platforms !
