Meet Hunxho

What is your name and where are you from?

Yoo! My name is Hunxho or Hunxhophobia I am from Killeen Texas, but I currently live in Illinois for college. Hunxho is a childhood nickname which was originally “honcho,” but I wanted to change the spelling because the original way was boring but, then eventually I added the phobia because I thought it was funny.

Why do you love what you do?

 Music has always been my escape from reality issues I have dealt with growing up and even now I have gained enough confidence to make my own and the full process from writing, recording, and releasing a song gives me an escape to things that I am dealing with now.

What makes you different?

What sets me apart from other artists is my personality. I am not a hard gangster or anything like that. I like to be funny and want to bring a more comedic personality to the industry. I also feel like my relatability sets me apart. I feel like a lot of my industry could relate to me as a person more than just as a rapper.

 Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In 5 years, I see myself graduating from college and successful enough to be able to take care of my family and friends wherever life takes me. Hopefully, it is music but always must have a back-up plan. But if it is music, I see myself as a big and respectable artist amongst my peers and fans.

 What do you want to accomplish in life?

Some of the things I will accomplish is to be a big artist that is first things overall but after that I will buy my mom her dream house and get a house with some friends because why not everybody eats, but another thing is I want to buy my own car which might turn into an addiction but that is the goal. I also am going to hit 6 figures and be able to live how I want to and the way I wanted to live when I was kid.

 What do you bring to your industry?

Something I feel like I can bring to my industry is relatability I am someone that most people this generation can relate to a broke college student that likes to make music that is like a good 50% of our generation but something I also feel like I can bring like I mentioned earlier a more comedic personality to my industry just a kid having fun, and even in my music you can hear me saying more of funny out of pocket things than anything all deep and serious. Something else I feel like I can bring is an organic personality like most artists try their hardest to be somebody they are not or put on an image but, me I am going to be me regardless of anything. Also, interaction I feel like I would like to interact with fans as if we are equals, we are both regular people there is no difference between me or anybody and I want people to know that.

What do you want to be remembered by?

After everything what I want to be remembered by is the regular person that made it I want kids or even people my age to see me and know that I am just like them, and they can do whatever they put their mind to. I want to be remembered as a big figure that is relatable to everyone. I also want to be remembered as the person that was not controlled by anybody or never sold out for anything because something that never sat right with me is someone going against what they believe for money, or the appeal of other people, that is not me. Like I said, I am going to be me no matter what anybody else thinks or how much anybody is trying to pay.
