Why do you love what you do? I love music because it ease my inner stress sometimes when I get really stressed out. I mean it's not only that but creating music is something challenging to me. Like I don't just go to the studio and make any music ,I prep them really good. It's a whole process for me when it comes down to making music and that’s why I love what I do because I Want to be the best at it you know.
What makes you different? My style of music is different because my lifestyle is different from the most in my genre if you understand what I'm saying. For example when people listen to my 7 different styles of music they ask me how I do it. I tell them it's my lifestyle. Be able to talk two languages have something to do with how I put my vocals down when I’m in the studio.I love to write music about me that's a way of expressing myself and some people can relate to the message, but the way I put it into my music is very different in my era and that's the goal I'm seeking in this industry because I want to stand out from the others, and only odd and different artists stand out nowadays.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
If God give me life to see another five yrs I'll want to see myself elevated spiritually and mentally,being a better person in life you know,a good father to my daughters and being a top artist in my genre. I know this gonna come with a lot of work and sacrifices but that’s what’s it is all about ain’t it, being able to manifest your vision. I know things don’t always go as planned but as long as we have life to try again goals can be accomplished.
What do you want to accomplish in life?
I want to accomplish a lot of things don't we all do, but my main thing is to fulfill my obligations as a father and be very good at what I do. I want to get a Grammy one day and represent my island Jamaica big time. I want to be able to help not so fortunate people from my country maybe I’ll eventually do some humanitarian aid of work but this would be a big accomplishment to me.
What do you bring to your industry?
I bring positive energy in my music even tho I've been trough the struggles and seen some things in life if you feel where I'm coming from. My unique style of flow is very different because of my upbringing living in Jamaica and Atlanta mixing two cultures together that's why my music sounds like that ,so in many words versatility is what I bring to the industry. I’m different and I’m very confident about it. I got a signature sound no one can duplicate.
What do you want to be remembered by?
I want people to remember me as someone who overcame failures and struggles so it can motivated others and people who feel like giving up on life. I want to be a hero for a good cause. Like someone who does a lifetime deed that continues even while that person is gone. This is why some people are legends because they left behind a act that people accept and cherish.
