A Letter to My Younger Self
Dear younger me, Let's have a chat. I want to tell you about a few things that you're going to go through from about the time you turn 4, up until you're a teenager. You're not always going to have the easy route, actually you never will have that easy route, but you got this.

The HARDEST Decision of My Life... For Now
I’ve been playing football my entire life. I love everything about football, the bonds you make, the skills learned, and just hitting people hard to be completely honest. I knew from a very young age I wanted to play at the highest level I possible and based off my stats in high school I could potentially make it further than most.

The Silver Lining
Growing up, until the age of eight years old my life was so, so unbelievably normal. I can't tell you the things I would do to get that life back, because I can't get it back. What I can do, though, is explain how things changed for me and how I've learned from them.

Mindsets I Had to Kick to the Curb
Now, I'm not here to tell you that this will help with everything. I'm not here to tell you that happiness is a choice either. What I want to talk about are the mindsets we carry with us that affect our lives every day. The choices we make are important, and how we make these decisions are even more important. Here are the mindsets I had learned over time, and then had to unlearn.

Staying Positive
You probably hear it all the time,"stay positive" or "don't let people bring you down," etc. In reality, it's hard to focus on being positive when all it really is to us is wishful thinking. To stay positive, you have to better your outlook on life. Take it step by step but be more optimistic. Everyone will always stumble into a negative position, or problem. When you do, you should ask yourself, "What is the one thing that is positive/good out of this situation?" Instead of worrying, and thinking on the downside, think about what good can come out of it, and what you can do to fix it—although it can take you time to process your thoughts and feelings it's always good to ask yourself those questions.

Every Day Struggle to Be Bigger
Right, I am sitting in this beautiful Barcelonian bar sipping a gorgeous glass of red with this chocolate hint in it (note: I can't afford this glass nor the second one—and I am actually drinking second #justsaying, as I am unemployed and should be thinking of the fucking eggs for tomorrow's breakie god damn it). Nonetheless, fuck it. I will go jogging tomorrow morning instead. Years ago I was dreaming of "this" moment, not to be unemployed nor not being able to buy myself a glass of red a week before my birthday especially, but to be evolving and becoming someone who will not settle for boredom and be subjected to the fear of living the life.

I'll Be Happy When. Top Story - October 2018.
"I'll be happy when..." A common phrase many of us have uttered. I'll be happy when the bills are paid. I'll be happy when my spouse gets home. I'll be happy when we are living in our new home. I'll be happy when I leave this job. I'll be happy WHEN. The problem is every time you reach the WHEN you work towards your next one, never to reach this happiness you long for.
