Make a Decision
What kind of decision maker are you? Do you make them quickly, settling on the first thing that comes to mind, or do take your time and think them through? Do you ever regret the decisions you make? Maybe you don't make decisions at all. Are you indecisive, always bouncing ideas around in your head, but can't focus on just one at a time? If you believe in multiple dimensions, and alternate realities, here's a theory on how decision making, or the lack of, may affect how various realities are created.

Positive
Positive, the word of freedom, the word of encouragement. The world looks up to positive minds, positive thinking, and positive attitude. Having a positive mind makes the mind healthy, makes the mind better, and makes the mind function. There are not limits to what you can do to get you goals in life. Do what you want to do in life. Make your life worth living. Make every day better. Choose the direction you want to go to in your life.

How to Live Your Best Life
I am definitely not a professional, but I do know a thing or two about keeping your head up. Personally, I am a very positive person, I believe that simple things like complimenting a stranger or even just a smile when you walk into a room can brighten someone’s day. So I try my best to be that person, because you never know what people are going through. Although it took me a while to be in this mental state, it is definitely worth it in the end.

Happiness Is Not a Choice...
One morning I woke up and the sky seemed brighter. It was pouring down rain and for whatever reason it seemed like it was a sunny summer day. I woke up feeling refreshed like the mere six hours of sleep I got the night before was the perfect amount. My coffee tasted perfect on the first try. The radio played my favorite song as soon as I started down the road and that particular station seemed to play the best songs all day. It was a slightly warm rainy day, but not the icky humid kind of day where it’s hot and the air is thick. It was perfect with a slight breeze every so often. The trees were just starting to bloom. The grass was turning green and I marveled at every early spring bloom covered in rain. It was one of the best days I’d had in a while. A seemingly dreary, rainy day at that.

Exclamation Points
Hey! Yeah, I’m talking to you. You know, the person who isn’t broken down and discouraged. I’m talking to the beautiful girl who has an incredible career, a hot husband, and the cutest two-year-old on the planet. I’m talking to the neighbor who lives in the best house on the street that has the BMW parked out front and the Lexus sitting in the garage. I’m talking to the young 28-year-old who just got named partner in their firm because they have worked their heart outputting in long hours and going the distance when everyone else was worried about “getting done.” I’m talking to the pastor who finally has every service packed and the ministry who is now full of generous people. The same one who is able to now drive a car with a sticker from the last five years, go on a vacation or two every year, and still has their passion for serving others and Jesus intact. YES! ALL OF YOU! This one's for you. YOU are killing it!

How I Found Myself After I Lost Myself
Raise your hand if you feel like you've ever lost yourself. Yep, I'm certain a ton of digital hands went up. Like so many good things in life, it seems it's so much easier to lose something that makes you feel good than it is to re-find or manifest it.

Recharge and Restart
Tackling any personal goals or projects excites anyone. For example, starting out my blog back in 2018. I was on my way to a new adventure, leaving my comfortable home of Calgary for the big city of Toronto to pursue a post-secondary education that I actually wanted and I discovered myself. This blog was for me to share my journey. Having this ongoing project, I would be able to watch my own growth in my writing, knowledge, and creative skills.

Failing My Own Standards
Does anyone know what it's like to set such high expectations for yourself and then fail? It's a such a frustrating thing to deal with. I've realized what becomes of me when I let myself fall into the trap of sulking in my own disappointment, especially for myself. First, I try to do better by taking on way, way too much, then I get frustrated with people around me who aren't performing the way I want them to, and when I feel misunderstood, I just dig a hole for myself and sit there.

Why I Was MIA
It has been almost three months since I’ve published anything to my blog. And even longer than that since I have made any strides in my health coaching business. And you know what sucks? In those three months, I feel like I didn’t accomplish much. I wasn’t out experiencing the world and going on crazy backpacking trips. I wasn’t working on another project or doing charity work. I simply… got caught up with life. I began working full time at a medical office and then made a pretty big move (California to Colorado) so understandably I became “busy.” But regardless of what my schedule was like, I know that if I really wanted to, I could have fit time in to work on my blog. Needless to say, I got distracted. Any “free time” I had I spent at the gym, meal prepping, and just trying to relax for the work week that was going to hit me before I even realized it.

Stop Thinking like That!
There are many things to be said about life but, I’ll get straight to the point. STOP! Stop thinking your life is a big inconvenience. I, for one, used to do this all the time. I thought every bad or what seemed to be a negative thing that happened in my life was an inconvenience.

Signs You Lack Self-Awareness
Did you ever meet someone who had zero idea of how he or she came across? They may have been exceptionally rude, unrealistic when it came to expectations, or just seemed clueless as to general social behavior. It's cringe-inducing, and at times, pretty painful to watch.
