My Financial Blunder and Anxiety
Money. The least favourite word of every person in their twenties. Not one of my friends have not had financial issues at some point in their twenties. It is such a tough time! You may be a college or university graduate, but today that does not necessarily get you a good job and many of us are left working the awful part-time jobs we had during school. Now we have thousands of dollars of student debt and no way to pay it off on top of trying to get out into the world on our own. With the price of everything skyrocketing, it's almost impossible to save enough money for first and last month's rent or a down payment on a mortgage, let alone to live on your own.

Progress
Progress, a word many of us have come to learn from society, means to grow and expand. To grow, learn, and to evolve both individually and socially is the goal of progress. This drive to improve is built into the very fabric of who we are as a people. We are all dreamers, explorers, and poets; buried deep inside all of us is the drive to surpass who we were yesterday. To evolve not only our understanding of ourselves, but of the collective whole we call society. We have come to see the modern world as more progressive than what has come before, and we measure the quality of our society by how far our reach extends. Yet, by forgetting the mistakes of the past, we are doomed to repeat their failures.

Gratitude
Gratitude, it is something that often times is overlooked and forgotten. We get hung up on everything that didn't go our way, but forget to say and show gratitude for the things we received instead. Maybe we didn't receive the promotion we asked for, the relationship with who we thought was "the one" didn't workout, or just life seems to be beating us up lately. Whatever the reason, we forget there are so many other things happening that we should show gratitude for.

Explore
Hello, and thank you for stopping by. Let me start by asking you a question I like to ask people when I meet them. Are you alive? And if so, are you living? I guess that's two questions meshed into one. I ask that because a lot of us are alive, but not living our lives to the full potential! We don't explore what makes us happy to the max! Some of us are afraid to live... When was the last time you didn't worry about your job? When was the last time you took a vacation? Or better yet have you not taken a vacation, due to excuses of not having time or money? If so, do what I did that changed my life! Take stay-cations locally, while you save money for the big one!

How to Grow as a More Confident Person
As many may know, most of us have never been very confident in our lives. We often find ourselves overthinking of social standards that we ‘must’ meet to be accepted in society or to feel comfortable enough. But! That is incorrect, due to the fact that every one of us is unique in its own special way and therefore we can’t be the same as others and others can’t be the same as us. We must learn how to grow as a more confident person daily.

It's Not Easy Being Human, Right?
Grit. Pick out any of the related words to grit and they all follow a similar theme, or to be more specific, they point to a mentality: Never giving up. To survive or overcome adversity, we have to always fight and never give up, right? That which doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right? I'm gonna be honest with you, it ain't easy being human. It ain't easy staying optimistic and overcoming adversity, but when you fight for that millimeter or inch, you're further than you were before and that in itself is not easy. I have and still am currently overcoming adversity—just like you, the reader and the rest of the community. This is an article of methods, advice, and motivation that will build that grit and help us pull through.

Never Losing Myself Again
People have pointed out to me for the last few years that I've slowly lost myself in terms of my stubbornness, my drive and just overall the things that made me well, me. I didn't listen to them because I honestly thought they were crazy and that they didn't know what they were talking about. I was young, I was in college and I knew exactly who I was and I haven't lost myself like everyone said I did. I started realizing recently that they were right. I’ve had time to reflect and re-evaluate on the last few years. I’ve realized that I settled for a lot of things that I never would have settled for or at least I didn’t think I would.
