Pain, Guilt, Misery, and Regret
Well... It isn't easy of course. But, if we were to take a closer look at how we live, how we act, and how we present ourselves to others, then the pieces will connect. For instance, if someone were homeless because of a drinking issue and how they treated other women, then that is possibly why he/she ended up being broke and homeless.

How to Win When Things Don't Go Your Way
How to Win When Things Don't Go Your Way This past week I almost got scammed to spend $550, actually got robbed in person in the South Side of Chicago, borrowed $470 believing with absolute certainty that the money would so easily and quickly come back to me, only to fall short on the due date to return the money.

The Secret to Success
Going away to college was one of the strangest times of my life. That first night in my dorm I realized that when I woke up the next morning I wouldn’t have to say, “Good morning!” to my parents. I wouldn’t have to pretend to be interested in my sister, or her life. My roommate hadn’t even arrived yet, so I would be all alone the next morning. I had hit the jackpot.

Negative self-talk is that voice in your head that participates in creating negative “truths” about you that are often times completely false and pretty savage. Here are some helpful ways to address negative self-talk and start reframing negative statements into positive thoughts.

How to Love Yourself Again
At some point in life we all experience a sense of confusion as to who we are or what our life even means. It is easy to get lost in our careers, studies, family life, etc. It is important to still find time for yourself. Schools should really stress the importance of self-care. As we get older sometimes our priorities get out of order. It is important to evaluate your life every so often, so that you can make sure you are happy and peaceful. Everything (growth-wise) stems from our inner happiness/mental state. So if we are not taking care of ourselves, most likely our work and everything else will be messy too.

The Power of Pizza
Beauty is a thing with wings, flying high, beautiful, and blind in the sky until it isn't so high anymore, or flying so much as crashing headfirst into the ground. When you really think about it, that's high school. Hell, that's life. You don't normally see the beauty in it though, do you? Well, most people don’t. Joseph B. Wirthlin once said, “The more often we see the things around us—even the beautiful and wonderful things—the more they become invisible to us. That is why we often take for granted the beauty of this world: The flowers, the trees, the birds, the clouds—even those we love. Because we see things so often, we see them less and less.”
