Living in the moment simply means being present in your everyday activities. People often forget to live in the moment because of bad habits or because they have a lot on their minds. Don't Play Small
I left a dream on a shelf because I felt that my voice didn’t matter. I slid back into the shadows unconsciously and put my own aspirations and dreams aside because I was constantly bombarded by feelings of insignificance and not being able to realize my own gifts. I simply forgot that I mattered in this world. I put thoughts in my own head that sharing my stories, experiences, etc. would be laughed at and outside opinions mattered more than my own. When someone told me I wasn’t a great writer, I took that to heart and believed them. I didn’t take the constructive criticism into consideration and use it as a catalyst to improve my writing. I shut down their opinion and stopped writing. Why did their opinion matter more than my own? Why did I let them control my dream?

How to Always Save the Day
There is a wonderful technique I have started to use that has changed the course of my life. It was taught to me by a friend of mine, and I would love to share it with you. First, I must give you a word of caution. This is a technique that can improve and help you in every facet of your life. Through the use of this method, you will feel elevated, uplifted, and vibrant. You will start to uproot problems in your life by eliminating things that no longer serve you. You'll be able to tell the difference between essential and nonessential.

The Tsunami-ed Life (Part 4)
Grief and sorrow, anger and rage, joy and love, disbelief and denial, relaxation and relief, all emotions that can come as a result of a tsunami (yes, joy and love because even the birth of your first child is a tsunami). Emotion is the foundation of the tsunami-ed life actually, the reason you experience what you experience. And they will arrive in a wide range of experiences and on a schedule that is utterly their own. You have no say, no control as to when they arrive (or leave), you can only respond when they show up however they choose to.

Dare to Dream
Everyone has their dreams, no matter who you are or what position you are in. Whether it is that you want to be in a better situation than you are now, or you dream to have more money, more freedom or more happiness. Then you have the dreams that you have formed that you set as goals and work towards, like starting a company or starting something new like a career or hobby or you want to create something to show who you are, like a book or vlogs or podcasts. Dreams can be small, or they can be big.

How to Breathe for Success
I read a study that said the average person at rest takes about 16 breaths per minute. That same person would be taking around 960 breaths per hour. Following this trend, that's about 23,000 breaths per day, and +8,500,000 breaths per year. Assuming they exercise, this would come out to around 672,000,000 breaths in a lifetime if they lived to age 80.

Sometimes the Girl Who Is Always There for Everyone Else, Needs Someone There for Her
You feel a lot when you're the girl who is always there for others, whether you're willing or not. Your heart is a vast expanse of water, sometimes troubled and sometimes calm—but always ready to give life to those who need it... even for those too afraid to swim. You are a multilayered personality whose depths seem to have absolutely no limits. You give and you give and you give; tearing pieces of your paper soul into the smallest of fragments just to set someone else aflame.

The Missing Cornerstone of Success
A Hero is someone who, the moment prior to becoming one, was a reckless, irresponsible dreamer. Risk None, Gain Nothing. I wrote the above while in deep reflection, mulling over whether I was truly prepared to take on the mammoth job of successfully launching an Internet marketing company. Having survived several start-ups of this magnitude, albeit not in the cyber-world, I knew this undertaking would be one that involved much more than just plain positive thinking.
