You’ve come a long way girl. You’ve faced many challenges along the way that broke your heart. And still you feel broken, or an emptiness that hasn’t been repaired. At times you came close, you almost allowed yourself to be happy and not feel like the rug was ripped out. But eventually, it happened – well, it was inevitable with the deep-seeded thoughts locked away in your subconscious.
Maybe you chose emotionally unavailable men because you were unavailable or had a feeling as if you weren’t worthy of a connection that lasts. You take your time to trust, and unfortunately, you’ve never gotten to that place of complete trust because shit always unfolds the same way. Let me guess, you are in isolation mode now! Isolation mode also bodes well for you – this is where you shine. You take your energy and set goals in many areas of your life and crush them! So why does love remain the one goal that matters most to you, and also consistently eludes you?
Just smile…
People can think what they want, and at times, it starts to invade your mind – how are you perceived by others when it may be completely different than who you are? I guess we all have seasons in our life. There may be many years of learning, healing, and understanding your purpose. This has been that time for you – most of your adult life. Don’t downplay the connections or relationships you’ve had thus far! They may not have withstood the test of time, but perhaps they were more meant to leave a lasting impression on you to become the woman you are meant to be.
Life should be about taking chances – most of the time uncomfortable ones to create a beautiful life. You’re on your way girl! It may seem hopeless but it’s in these moments where you MUST hold on and have unwavering belief. Good comes from bad. When your heart can not take another setback, a wonderful new door is opened.
Just smile…
Inside your belly is an enormous volcano of love that desires to erupt for someone. You know now what you do not want, what you will not compromise, and what matters most. It’s not money or things – it's time, time is your currency. You are aching to wake up in his arms, have morning coffee with him, laugh until you pee with your silly sense of humor, share family moments, cook together, dance in the kitchen, drink wine watching the sunset, dance at outdoor concerts, feel his hugs so tight, hold your hand when you cry, climb a few mountains, talk for hours, and have a partnership with someone who makes you a priority. He will love you at every stage of your life. These are moments that create love, and love is all that matters.
Just smile…
It may not happen tomorrow, but it may. Be prepared, be excited, be YOU! After all, life is so short. Find happiness and jump in – take a leap of faith and stop wasting energy on being sad, living in the past, and using these feelings as a shackle that chains you to nowhere. We all can love more than one person, so why waste NOT giving that to someone? Your laugh is infectious, your sincerity is genuine, and your smile lights up a room. There is something rare, unique, and beautiful about you that has gone untapped and unnoticed.
Someone is going to come into your life at any moment and exceed any expectation you've ever had. Believe in the possibility of the trueness of your heart, and the work you've done to get here.

You need a partner for the amazing woman you’ve become. You have grown out of the “neediness” stage in life that occurs when you place a higher priority on someone else. That stage when you conform your lifestyle, hobbies, and become available at the drop of a dime to their schedule to win their affection. People sense that needy behavior a mile away! Nope! That time in your life is over, when you sacrificed who you are and kept your mouth shut because losing them felt like your life would end. Good Lord, why would you sell your soul like that anymore? THE NATURE OF ABUSE
The nature of abuse is fundamentally defined by an imbalance of power and control, where one seeks dominance to achieve obedience within the powerless state of another. The path to restorative peace, emancipation, and freedom must reside within the state of truth. To become a catalyst of change one must force the mask to drop for transparency and accountability to emerge. The façade or persona others may project to the world, often conceals their core real true-self. True character is often revealed within moments of critical crisis, where someone who has experienced grave injustice, torture, ridicule, resistance to help, or silencing is forced to walk without assistance. Within moments of despair one enters into the ascended state of revelation, awakening, and enlightenment of the true self. One must acutely address and recognize where policy, legislation, legal frameworks, leadership, or lack of compassionate care or empathy may not be apparent. What resides or lies beneath, will always emerge to the surface within time, especially when another’s superficial mask drops. What is often revealed is the performative façade is no longer evident. Within the critical moments of relationships, genuine intent is demonstrated by compassion, understanding, support, and a willingness to set aside personal selfish interests for the common good of all. Unfortunately, within the realms of cruelty or manipulative intent, there can be a stark contrast to the reality initially being presented prior by the abuser, as the charm inevitably fades. Survivors of abuse can identify a change in character when loss of control is evident. Within the moments of absence, indifference, apathy, or silence, abusers are often challenged in the sense, that they must confront what they have inevitably become. Abusers are often publicly caught in a lie that they cannot explain away. A turning point emerges for a victim of abuse, when there is a shocking devastating realization that the person they confided in, was engaging in a performance act. This knowledge can be a catalyst for a victim to begin their healing journey and leave an abusive relationship, as it provides certainty, that their instincts and moral judgement were correct all along.
