How Whimsies Can Add Fun to Your Days?
Whimsical ideas to banish stress

“Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere.” — Albert Einstein
Whimsical refers to something playful and creative. It rides on the back of imagination to give amusement.
We love children’s storybooks because they are engaging and whimsical. Mermaids, talking donkey, Thumbelina, Rapunzel with long hair, wood boy Pinocchio, Alice going to the Wonderland, Hansel-Gretel and cookie house. It’s endless.
If you think about it, movies like Harry Potter are full of whimsies. Not long back, I had written a review on the whimsical book 'The Search for Treasure', by author Geronimo Stilton’.
Whimsical elements add joy to life. I certainly need it, in this phase of raising two small kids. So, my life has lots of whimsies now.
I guess, I learned whimsies from my imaginative and creative kid daughter.
We take our teddy bear and put it on the jasmine flower bed. It feels as if we are lying on flower meadow.
We take a tiger toy and show it sunsets near the cul-de-sac.

We take octopus toy and let it perch on the feijoa (pineapple guava) tree branch.

You see above a rubber ducky wearing a pink hollyhock flower sombrero, with a small vase with garden flowers nearby.

On July 4th, as I made a small picnic table for the kids in the backyard, I made sure to place the tiger and octopus on the table, holding USA flags. One of our parrot toys, is sporting star-spangled banner scarf.

A turtle plush to wearing a flower tiara, is riding a tractor near the raised bed in the garden.

A gypsum plaster duck statue, waring necklace watches the Hunter moon in Fall season.
