How to Overcome Excuses That Drain Out Our Potential.
"There are many ways of going forward, but only one way of standing still." - Pres. Franklin D. Roosevelt

There will be many moments in our life when we won't be able to find a way forward. There will be moments when the way forward will be hard to figure out due to hurdles obstructing our vision.
The reason behind that will be simple when observed from others' viewpoints but more complex from our viewpoint.
There exist multiple ways around and above that hurdle that you are currently facing. There is more than one way that can put you within proximity to your goal and from where you can take it home.
However, the fear of failure or the situations that we face after things do not go according to our plan halts our journey. We think failure is fatal and we are stuck wherever we are and halt our journey ahead.
Look Around, Look Above, and most importantly Look Within, there exists another way to achieve that excellence that you are after. The failure or the setback that we faced is temporary.
In daily life, there will be multiple instances when we face such a scenario where one thing goes wrong and we get stuck over there due to lame excuses. We stick to our viewpoint which is not allowing us to see the whole picture and thus, we are stuck wherever we are.
There are many instances that we can relate to our daily life where we fail sometimes and think that it is our permanent destiny.
We know that exercise helps us to reduce the extra weight that we carry around. We decide to reduce that weight by exercising. A few days in and we lose the zeal to wake up early and hit that gym.
We give up. The excuses surmount and overpower our will to work again on that goal to lose some weight.
We believe that exercise is the only way to reach that goal. We stop the journey and settle for that extra weight around our stomach and hip.
But as Franklin D. Roosevelt says: There is only one way to stand still but many ways to march forward.
We get stuck at that one way and fail to utilize the other way around it.
If not gym, steal five to ten minutes between every two to three hours for a small and effective workout. The gossip that we engage in while on a coffee break can be replaced by the warm-up or climbing stairs up and down. There are many occasions where we use lift instead of stairs. If possible use stairs instead of the lift.
Cut the unnecessary carbs and sugar intake.
Walk. Climb the Stairs.
Find a way around that roadblock and you will reach your destination.
Don't let silly excuses drain out your potential to prevail.
Introspect and you will find ample occasions where a roadblock was enough to convince you to let go. Only if you had looked a way around it, you might have been at a different place.
Don't Abandon the journey because you encounter a roadblock.
Don't Surrender to excuses because they don't dictate who wins.
Don't Give-up after a failure because it gives you a chance to improve & proceed.
Don't hang your shoes due to high hurdles because they are there to make you stronger.
Don't compromise with struggle because if you do, Mediocrity will trap you forever.
Keep going through, above, or beside but never ever abandon the journey.
Define what you want. Plan on how would you get it.
Break that Plan into achievable steps.
Remember, you will encounter hardships and failures along the way but they are there to make you strong and wise
Hope this helps you.
