How to be happy even in times of distress
Happiness is a blessing!

Are you going through a difficult time in your life? Here are some pointers on how to be joyful, upbeat, hopeful, and excited about life. We will all face failures, run head-on into barriers, and face unforeseen challenges throughout our lives. The shock of these disappointments can often leave us anxious, dejected, or even oppressed; yet, life and its activities go on.
We can't wish our problems away or forget about them. We may, however, remain optimistic, thinking that better days are approaching. Don't stay still or hide. Get angry for a moment, but don't stay angry or sit motionless while hardships and tribulations take their toll. Instead, we must go forward and take efforts to eliminate any threats that may arise, and we must do it with a positive attitude.
The first step is to recognize that we live in an imperfect world where difficulties are unavoidable. That notion may seem frightening, but it is true. So, the first step towards living and being happy despite hurdles is to accept that we may encounter bumps along the path and that we cannot always foresee when they will occur. If we retain this mentality, we won't be as surprised when we face a roadblock.
Keeping this perspective allows us to remain optimistic and joyous even in the face of adversity because we understand that the circumstance is just temporary.
While we must realize that troubles are an inevitable part of life, we must never allow them to consume all of our time and attention. Putting too much emphasis on our problems may shatter our spirits, crush our hearts, drain our energies, and take our joy.
To achieve the objective of being joyful in the face of adversity, we must have the personal discipline to accept the circumstance at hand while never becoming immersed in it. We can't ignore it, and we can't act as if it doesn't exist.
It should not, however, be present in our brains and thoughts at all times of the day and night. We need to be able to figure out what we have control over and attempt to rectify it. We must carefully lay aside whatever is beyond our control; fretting and brooding about it day and night will not change anything.
Overthinking and worrying over the problem will not bring it to a satisfactory conclusion. As a result, we must try our best and make the decision to be happy. Considering it typically enhances our skepticism.
Even if someone has a role in erecting the barriers we are up against, we should attempt to keep our anger to a minimum. It's quite OK to let off steam but do so as fast as possible.
Allowing blame and resentment to grow will prevent you from thinking clearly enough to solve the situation and move forward. Furthermore, the "blame game" and the ensuing rage will make you unhappy rather than happy.
Focusing on others might lead to overreaction, making the hurdle appear larger than it is and delaying our efforts to remove it from our path. We must maintain our spirits uplifted, our hearts happy, and our minds hopeful in order to keep our hope alive.
We have the option of giving our power away or keeping it and using it to direct our route to a solution to our dilemma. We have the ability to control our own destiny. We lose power to others when we succumb to blame and wrath. We gain control when we take the initiative to soar above. We must maintain our strength, smile, and enjoy life.
