How To Identify What Is Causing Negative Thinking, How To Decrease It and How To Increase Positive Thinking

I am going to show how to identify what is causing that negative thinking, how to decrease it and how to increase positive thinking.

In order to do that, you have analyze the environment you’re part of. Do you like spending time in those places? Think about it.

Also, you have to pay a close attention how people around you are affecting you, you have to analyze your lifestyle, your actions, what are the things that you enjoy doing and what are the things that you don’t enjoy doing, but you have to do those.

By analyzing your life, you’re being aware of where you stand, you’re being aware of what’s affecting your life in negative or positive way.

In order to fix the problem; first, you have to identify it, and you have to identify what’s causing that negativity, you have to identity what’s causing that positivity.

It is very important to know what’s going on around you. It is very important to recognize what is the good side of your life and what is the bad side.

Too many of us don’t pay attention to the little things, and are those little things that play a huge impact on our lives.

Too many of us don’t pay attention to the bad side of the routine we live, too many of us don’t pay attention to the good side of our routine.

We just wake up and we do what we have been doing for the last years, and it looks like we are programed.

And that is the reason that most of us are spending time and energy in places that we don’t want to be.

That means, we are spending less time and energy in places we want to be.

And then, when we get home we don’t have enough time and energy for ourselves, for our family, for our side hustles, for our dreams.

Also, a lot of people don’t know what they want to do. I remember, I was one of them. I was looking to change my reality, looking for my passion, because I was bored, I was mad at me, I was hating myself, I started to not like anything around me, and I was blaming myself for being in that situation. I dropped out of university and I was doing a job that I didn’t like.

As you can see, I was looking at the negative side of my life, and because of that, my negative self-talking was growing.

It reached a point where it was too much and I started to ask myself, if is this the life I want to live.

I started looking for answers, and for years I didn’t know what to do, but I had that strong will to change myself, I wanted to change my life so bad, and I recognized that I had to give up on the things that weren’t good for me, including gambling, drinking, and drugs.

It was hard because that was my lifestyle as a teenager, 6-7 years of my life, but it was the right decision to make because it was bad for me, bad for people around me, and bad for my future.

While I was struggling on how to leave my addictions behind, I realized, the days I was not gambling, drinking or taking drugs, I was happy, I was performing good at work, I was not feeling lazy to get things done.

I was feeling like it was a new me, a different person, a person that I wanted to be.

And I asked myself, You want to be happy or sad? And of course, my answer was HAPPY.

Remember, you don’t have to find joy and happiness, by doing things that affect your life in a negative way.

It was all what I was doing for years, but it had to come to an end.

Also, I realized that thinking all the time about the negative side of my life, was having a negative impact on me, it was affecting my behavior.

So, in order to change that, I started to look at the positive side of my routine.

For example, instead of saying; I don’t like my job, I started to say to myself, at least I have a job, because of that job I’m making a living, I’m paying my bills, I’m going on vacation... etc.

Let’s take another example, instead of you saying that I don’t like the location of where I live, say to yourself, at least I have a place to sleep.

Let’s take a look at another one, instead of you saying, I don’t like my car, or my car is old, say, my car is getting the job done, or in case you don’t have a car, and you are using public transportation, think about it, you are saving at least $500 a month because of not having a car and having that extra money every month is a very good thing.

The whole point of this is to appreciate things that you have in life.

That’s why, I started to look at the benefits of my routine because I wanted to change my negative self-talking into the positive one.

and that is where I want you to focus the most, at the good side of your life.

By doing it you already are starting to think about positive things, and by thinking positive things, you start to feel good, And feeling good, is our goal. Because by feeling good, our behavior changes, and when our behavior changes, the way we act changes, the way we look at life changes, the way we do things changes.
