Entrepreneurial Lessons from Billionaires, fulfills me.
Manifest Language
The one thing that excites me about waking up everyday as an investor, is waking up knowing that the company that I've invested in, has a primary purpose of helping people. St James Holdings and Investment Company Trust, is just that type of company. They build self-sustainable intentional communities. Not only is this project out of this world awesome, CEO and founder Elder Jeffer Saint James is an entrepreneur who gives me one-on-one entrepreneurial lessons, and because he's a friend of mine, charging me for this life-changing information is out of the question.
I believe greatly in the power of manifestation, and ever since I was a young boy I've been paying attention to millionaires and billionaires, as I too believe that if those before me can do it, so can I. So to fast forward to this day, St James Holdings and Investment Company Trust builds homes which are energy efficient, expandable and sustainable. The Homes of the Future are just what the people want and need right now. When asked about the purpose of the company, he replied "It is a self-supporting company, which did not rely on the government, banks or traditional financial institutions for support". He uses an example of the average person living in a home, who has electricity, water, a cell phone, internet, refrigeration and a stove. That person would not require the loan facilities of a bank, only for the acquisition of food, fuel, shelter and entertainment. The company was designed to serve people, that love to serve people within our own sustainable communities, which provide quality of life.
The mission in my own words, of the company is, "to empower people to work with, and for each other and live sustainably".
What is my drive you ask? Once again, The People.
Another entrepreneur who is involved with sustainable living, is Jeffery Kusner of Aladdin Green. Jeff has been involved with green real estate for quite some time. He understands the challenges of building green and lives it. What he advocates is not the typical green development pattern which is typically a big box, run off, high density cookie cutter of all the blocks arranged into a single large building. The goal is to preserve the character of existing neighborhoods and build sustainable homes, that will last.
Instead Jeff recommends a smaller parcel development. For example a lot that is 5 acres or less, could have a "green community". In other words, build a smaller building that is an attached single story cottage style home. You also see this pattern all over the country. Jeff recommends building lots of cottages for people that want to live in a smaller house that does not have to be modern, but is comfortable and convenient for their life style. This development pattern can be done in a sustainable manner. It is a proven process to build sustainable homes. You see Jeff knows what he is talking about and is an inspiring leader. He is willing to take the risk to teach others how to live in a sustainable way.
Finally our second entrepreneur is David Allen, author of Getting Things Done. David is a former CEO of a $40 billion dollar company and knows how to make $40B through passion, ethics, integrity and efficiency. He is great at keeping everyone on track and accomplishes everything he starts. He is a man that knows how to make a $40Billion through passion, integrity and efficiency.
Our third entrepreneur is Richard Branson of Virgin. Virgin is a $1Billion through Virgin brand, which is a "Green" brand, and as an entrepreneur, this is a very valuable business to own. This company includes an airline, music, hotel and fashion line. Richard Branson is a man that is willing to do whatever it takes to build his business empire. He will sacrifice whatever it takes to help build his business empire and has been successful at doing so. He does things differently and is willing to take the risk to teach others how to live in a sustainable way.
Our fourth entrepreneur is Ray Kroc of McDonalds. McDonalds is another $1Billion through the McDonalds brand, which is a "Green" brand. You see McDonalds is a "Green" brand because they are willing to do things that most other businesses won't do. They are willing to spend money to get ahead. McDonalds is a business with a vision, a culture, and a business plan. Ray knows how to create a sustainable way to get ahead. McDonalds has done things differently and is continuing to do so. Ray is willing to take the risk to help build his business empire.
So let's look at these individuals a little closer. You have an entrepreneur who has a vision, who has a culture, who has a business plan. This is a business that will take risk, sacrifice and be willing to make adjustments in order to reach success. This is a business with a vision that will teach you the importance of being efficient. This is a business with a vision that will take you places.
The next entrepreneur is a genius with a $1Billion dollar business. He has knowledge, he has creativity, he has vision, he has efficiency, he has passion, he has integrity, he has vision. So I guess the next person would be... eh... I'm not sure...
