Cleaning
First, clean your table or desk; it usually takes only 5 seconds. This will remove your distractions and motivate you to do only work that time. Now, you are thinking about how cleaning can remove my distraction. Let me explain this; if your table or desk is full of papers or colors or something else, you will never focus on your work; you will play again and again with those items on the table or desk. So it is essential to clean your desk and take two things with you, only the pen and the paper.
Goals
You have to make goals you are passionate about and want to achieve. Make realistic goals because if you make realistic goals and want to achieve something big, the plans will help you to do hard work consistently. But if you don’t have any goals, you work one day by motivating yourself, and then another day, you will get bored and leave.
Plan
If you make realistic goals and don’t plan to achieve them, they will be goals forever because if you don’t plan how to achieve them in your life, you will never achieve them by only dreaming and thinking. So make a rough plan to reach your goals and stick to them; follow them, and they will surely help you achieve them.
List
After rough planning of how I can achieve my goals, I have to start my journey towards my goals by doing tasks daily. First, you must make a to-do list before going to bed to sleep. Then, make a to-do list for another day so that you waste no time thinking about what you should do today or next. Finally, make a to-do list that you can follow easily. Don’t make a complicated list you cannot follow because you think you will do many tasks today when you are motivated. Still, after doing one or two tasks, you will be tired and unable to do other tasks, and as a result, you will get demotivated, and maybe you will not do the tasks another day because of losing hope.
Three tasks per day
As I mentioned, you have to make a to-do list of what you will do today but don’t make it too big. You have to make your to-do list within three tasks. So do only three daily tasks that you write to achieve your goals.
Powerful rule
Now, this is the time to do work, but if you are lazy, you will never do the work entirely that you have to do, and you will tire before doing your tasks. This is a powerful rule for you, and by following this rule, you will be able to do all your tasks. When you feel lazy, think you realistic goals that you really want to achieve and if they don’t motivate you, count 5 seconds from the opposite and when you reach 1, stand up and go to your work immediately. This helps in situations when you don’t want to work. Just do a countdown, and before ending the counting of 5 sec, you have to work on your task immediately that is remaining.
Workplace
You have to stay away from distractions as much as possible because you can’t focus on your tasks if you are distracted repeatedly. So it would be best if you chose your workplace to be clean and calm for no disturbance by your family or friends. So you can save a lot of time by removing distractions from your life.
Small tasks
Do small tasks first to keep you motivated the whole day because if you do big tasks first, you may be demotivated very soon and leave your work.
Airplane mode
Please turn your phone on airplane mode for at least one task completely. Then you can turn off and use it and turn it on again to avoid all types of distractions when you go to work.
Pomodoro
Set a timer of 25 minutes and do work with complete focus, then take 5 minutes break and again go to work, set a timer of 25 minutes, and again, take a gap of 5 minutes. When you complete three intervals like this, take a break of 30 minutes. Also, don’t forget to do a tea or coffee party for freshness to do more work the whole day.
