CLOCK OF LIFE
“Don't waste your time with explanations: people only hear what they want to hear.” ― Paulo Coelho

"For what it's worth: it's never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There's no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the courage to start all over again."
― Eric Roth, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button Screenplay
There's time in life. Rather you are aware of it or not. Life is passing you by, and what you choose to do with your life at this moment will reflect in your tomorrow. but your future is now, is happening in each second that is passing, two minutes ago, that was your present, now your past.
So we can be so caught up in petty things, society demands, people's opinions, and so beyond. When, in fact, life is your precious moment running through your eyes. Rather you are busy caring about other's people's life or your own life. Life is passing you by.
Society teaches us in so many different ways how we are supposed to live. And then, without even noticing, our actions are driven by people's opinions. Are you one of these people who choose your career, path in life, or whatever it is because of constant pressure over you? Did you ever stop to think for a second, is this making me happy? is this what I really want? Or are you just follow something to make a point or prove something to a family, friend, social circle, and when you least expect you are living a life of other's people will.
So let's go back in time. Give yourself a moment. If you a pessimistic person, there's nothing wrong with that. Actually, it's a good way to measure losses and gain in life actions, but don't be so pessimistic at the point of not allow yourself to believe in your own things. Give yourself a moment to see the water in the cup a little more full than less.
Going back to society. Since we are little, we are taught that we need a job, family, career, and a lot of material things to fill complete, happy, and well accepted in the social circles of life. Then we are measure by what we achieve by what we build, and from that, you know if you are old enough in this world.
Now going back in time. Let's make a different reflection on time in life. Give yourself some private space and look far beyond time. When you be old enough, talk with your old person. Maybe you will find the answers you are looking for, do not talk just with the child version of you, talk with the old one.
Then, maybe when you can see things with more clarity, life will give you the answers you are looking for.
Well, well, this is too much complicated, not time for that, the real world is calling back...you right, the real world is calling back, if you decide to see your "real-world" like that, which there's nothing wrong with, whatever makes you happy.
Just remember that life is passing you by, and you should be concerned about your own life, your own time, not other's people life and time. there's not you there. You cannot find answers looking into other's. And this sound maybe resonant, but it's true.
Find your path in life, believe in that, follow your life, and forget others' opinions. It's YOUR precious life, your time. There's too much noise in this world, and if you don't silence, then, well, you will never be able to listen to yourself properly.
"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin."
Mother Theresa
"It's being here now that's important. There's no past and there's no future. Time is a very misleading thing. All there is ever, is the now. We can gain experience from the past, but we can't relive it; and we can hope for the future, but we don't know if there is one."
George Harrison
"Time takes it all, whether you want it to or not."
Stephen King, The Green Mile
