From the beginning, Greene has been the underdog. At every level undersized as a child and including his high school days at Bishop Hendricken a powerhouse in Warwick, RI. Greene was a three sport athlete in football, track and Rugby. But, he had to fight for recognition. While others were handed the spotlight, and in college he earned every snap, every rep, and every ounce of respect. That underdog mentality carried him through college, where he quietly developed into a force. fast, versatile, mentally strong and unshakably driven. I asked Carl how he has dealt with so much adversity and he simply responded “Faith. I call God whenever something goes sideways.”

But during his senior year of college, life threw him a curveball that hit far beyond the field and his hardest challenge yet the death of his grandfather, one of his greatest supporters, his inspiration and his best friend. It was a moment that could’ve broken him. Instead, it became fuel. With purpose behind every move, Greene doubled down pushing harder than ever to make his dream of playing pro football and growing his brand simultaneously a reality.

And he delivered.

In multiple senior all-star games, Greene put on a show flashing elite speed, versatility, and a fire that stood out against the best from across the country. Scouts noticed. Coaches noticed. And more importantly Carl Greene gained confidence within himself to keep going. Proof of delayed gratification, hard work and harder praying. In just one gamex the Dream Bowl in Little Elm Texas, Greene had 4 carries for 32 yards, averaging 8 YPC. 3 tackles and a fumble recovery. An impressive stat line considering Greene was one of a handful of D3 players there and he was playing running back that game because they were full at safety where Carl played in college. Greene said “I knew I had to get there and showcase what I can do, I’m willing to play anywhere and God blessed me with another opportunity to put on the cleats I had to make something happen plus I could showcase my versatility to teams.” Greene did just that. Even though he didn’t receive any calls from the NFL Greene is still confident he can eventually get there. Greene will play his first professional game for Team America at AT&T stadium, Home of the Dallas Cowboys.

Now a professional athlete with Team America, a team of free agents looking to get more film and making a decent pay, mostly playing international teams and hoping to get quality film against other pros, and eventually to climb up into the NFL. Greene is not just playing for himself. He’s playing for every overlooked athlete who needs proof that it can be done. Without being the most promoted or praised and his loved ones who he’s lost. “ I know he’s smiling watching over me knowing I’m doing everything in my power to make him proud.”

Off the field, Greene has become a rising force in the athlete branding space, building a massive social media presence. Specifically on YouTube rooted in authenticity, motivation, and real-life hustle. He’s used his platform to inspire thousands showing the day-to-day of what it really takes to go pro, mentally and physically. All around self improvement.

Even bigger, he’s becoming a pioneer for small school athletes in the NIL world not many Division 3 athletes are in the NIL world. Greene is creating a new blueprint for how under-the-radar players can still secure major NIL deals, build their own brands, and gain recognition without waiting for traditional gatekeepers to say they’re “next.” Carl said “If nobody is going to put you on, you might as well try and put yourself on, stop letting others keep you in a box,” “Sometimes you just need to double down on yourself and control what you can control.” Said Greene

Through his personal brand , EXCLUSiiVE LLC, Greene. is helping others elevate their mind, body, and spirit because his story isn’t just about football. It’s about ownership. It’s about legacy. And it’s about creating a lane where there wasn’t one before.

For Carl Greene from East Greenwich, Rhode Island the mission is clear: Be the proof. Work hard and never take no for an answer
