Born to Soar: The Eagle’s Awakening
A Timeless Story of Self-Discovery and Breaking Free from Limitations

The Misplaced Egg
Once upon a time, high on a rugged cliff, a mighty eagle built her nest. One day, as a storm raged fiercely, one of her eggs rolled out and tumbled down the mountainside. It landed gently in a chicken coop nestled in a quiet farm.
Raised Among Chickens
The next morning, the chickens discovered the egg and, not knowing what it was, decided to care for it as one of their own. Soon, the egg hatched, and out came a scruffy little eaglet. To the chickens, he looked strange, with his sharp beak and piercing eyes, but they assumed he was just a peculiar kind of chicken.
The eaglet grew up scratching the ground for worms, clucking awkwardly, and flapping his wings in vain attempts to fly. The other chickens mocked him, saying, “You’ll never fly. Chickens don’t do that.” The eagle, unaware of his true nature, believed them.
A Glimpse of the Sky
One day, as he was scratching the dirt, he noticed a shadow glide over the ground. Looking up, he saw a majestic eagle soaring effortlessly in the sky. Something stirred deep within him—a feeling he couldn’t explain. The sight of the eagle filled him with both awe and a strange longing.
“Who is that?” he asked a nearby hen.
“That’s the king of the skies,” she replied. “But don’t get any ideas. You’re a chicken, and chickens belong on the ground.”
The Call of the Eagle
But the eagle couldn’t shake the feeling that he was meant for something more. The next day, he climbed a nearby hill and tried flapping his wings harder. He leaped into the air but landed with a thud. The chickens laughed, “We told you, you’re one of us! Stay on the ground where you belong.”
The eagle was about to give up when the sky darkened, and the majestic eagle from before swooped down. “What are you doing here among chickens?” the great eagle asked.
“I’m a chicken,” the young eagle replied hesitantly.
The older eagle chuckled. “You’re no chicken. You’re an eagle, born to rule the skies. Spread your wings and let me show you.”
Doubtful but desperate to believe, the young eagle climbed the hill again. The older eagle urged him, “Trust yourself. Feel the wind beneath your wings.” With a deep breath, the young eagle leaped. This time, his wings caught the air, and he soared higher and higher, the world below shrinking as he rose.
He finally realized the truth: he had never been a chicken. He was an eagle all along. With a powerful cry, he left the farm and joined the skies, free at last to live his destiny.
And as the chickens watched him disappear into the heavens, they could only cluck in amazement, never understanding what it meant to be an eagle.
You Are Meant to Soar
Never underestimate yourself, even if the world around you does. Just like the eagle raised among chickens, you may find yourself in a place where your potential is hidden, your wings feel clipped, and your dreams seem out of reach. But remember, where you are now does not define who you are.
Inside you lies a greatness waiting to be discovered—a strength and purpose unique to you. The doubts of others, and even your own, cannot dim the truth: you were born to soar.
When the time comes, and it will, you’ll feel the wind of possibility beneath your wings. All you need to do is trust yourself, take that leap of faith, and rise above the limits placed upon you.
Your journey to greatness may take time, but when you discover who you truly are, nothing will hold you back. The sky is not just the limit—it’s your home.
