The fact that I am even alive to write these words is a blessing in itself. I have spent the majority of my life in darkness, in the hell of my own mind. I have lived in deep separation from my authentic self, clouded with expectations, judgments, fears, and lack of self-worth. The journey is never easy, but I am grateful to be moving forward on my path home. Each day I am finding more of my voice and will continue to do so for the rest of my life. What does it mean to listen to your authentic voice? Who or what even is "your" authentic voice? Who are you, and who am I?

I am a mother, an artist, and a dreamer. Some may say my dreams may be too big, I say you can never dream big enough. We can not fully grasp the depths of what we can all create on this Earth, especially what we can co-create together. If we want to reach working together, we must first work together within our selves. Finding our inner child, our inner voice, and pouring love and compassion on any lingering wounds.

When we tap into the flow within, we begin to find guidance to our authentic inner voice. This may come through a sense of inner knowing or synchronicities. This voice is always there, but learning to hear, and listen, does not always come easy. It takes full surrender to this moment. To accept things as they are, what they were, and where they may be going. The ego doesn't want to surrender. It wants to hold on. Doing whatever it can to keep you from stepping into the light of your darkness.

When we hold on to our pain, our expectations, our judgments, we create resistance in finding our authentic voice and path. When we strive without listening, we create resistance in the natural flow of life. How can we listen? How can we tune in to a deeper understanding of WHO we are? I am looking forward to sharing what I have learned along my journey with you. I challenge you now to take a moment to continue on to the journal portion at the end of this post. Use this time as a practice of self-love. A choice to dive into your own healing. Dedicate a journal to your journey. To your transformation. To your re-birth. To your truth.

Spend a moment tuning into your inner voice, your inner child. When is the last time you connected with your own innocence, with who you were before the pain, the fear, the struggle, the judgment? Where is that voice? What happened to the spirit of your own inner child? Spend a few moments here even if it feels confusing or if you don't really have any memories from childhood. If your memories are painful, choose to spend a moment just observing what comes up within yourself, and your inner child, with compassion.

Write a small note to your inner child. A note of commitment to your healing, your growth, and your transformation. An invocation of your spirit, your authenticity, your innocence, and your voice. A small letter of forgiveness, acceptance, and love. Write whatever you would like or follow the example below.

"I thank you for being strong when life got hard. That when you wanted to give up you didn't. I choose to love you unconditionally even if I don't know how or what that even means. I am sorry for any time that I ran away from your guidance, my true voice. Please forgive me for accepting the lies that I've told you in the past. I forgive you for your anger, your sadness, your pain you've carried. I give you space now to heal, to feel, and to align with the life you want to create. I acknowledge that with patience and trust in my healing on this journey we can unite again in the wholeness of who we are. I am here for you, always, Thank you, I love you, I'm sorry, please forgive me."

Throughout my posts I will be sharing more insight into the power of using ho'oponopono as a healing affirmation. Ho'oponopono is the repeating of the phrases I love you, I'm Sorry, Please Forgive me, Thank you. In any order, as often as you can, connecting to the inner depths of your being.

Sending you love. You are worth it.

"I stand in the fire of transmutation, to fly free on the wings of transformation, encompassed in a circle of unconditional love and truth."
