Looking for safe ways to guarantee writing improvements? Below I've presented tried and tested tips from successful authors to inspire you.

I've often struggled with motivating myself to boost my writing muscles, telling myself that I'll write when I feel like it.

To generate better content, I navigated the internet and found several motivational hacks that have overhauled my writing habits. As a result, I now write for at least three hours daily, produce much more impactful content and make money from writing articles.

For success, focus more on the system and not the goal. - Jessica Lynn, The Write Path

If you want to elevate your writing and become a professional, paid writer, you need a safe system. But you need habits that guarantee the success of the design- that's where the following tips deliver.

---

Step one

Write consistently.

Think about how people write books. They don't, if ever, write only when they feel like it.

They craft inventive writing consistently and are dedicated to producing their precious book.

The spectacular blogger Jessica Lynn who made $3K in a month by blogging, converted her writing into money-making magic by writing every day without fail from 7 to 10 am:

I don't get up out of my chair for at least an hour and sometimes three except to stretch. - Jessica Lynn

Lynn says that operating her writing habits as she would for a secure job generated her success.

She frequently motivationally reminded herself that she is a writer.

I've taken her methods on board, wrote "I am a Writer" in bold letters, and blue-tacked it to my desk to help shatter my self-doubt. It helps me to remind myself that my professional identity is brave, impactful and valid.

Your habits shape your identity, and your identity shapes your habits. - James Clear, Atomic Habits

Step two

Learn your craft

You know that no one is born an incredible writer; they have to train themselves.

You need to find what type of stimulating learning style suits you the most to avoid getting discouraged and abandoning your writing dreams.

Proven tools

If you're an avid reader looking to smartly write fiction novels, Reading as a Writer is a safe option. For non-fiction writers, William Zinsser's On Writing Well: An Informal Guide to Writing Nonfiction has sold over a million copies and is packed with proven writing tips from an authority.

My medium blog will be posting more tested solutions as well.

For people excited by visuals, there are demonstrations on Youtube of how to build an article like this one by savvy expert Neil Patel.

Skillshare offers proven courses on anything from blogging to copywriting to fiction by trained professionals if you are willing to pay. - None of this is sponsored; I love these tools.

Podcasts are great for auditory learners- search for "writing" on Spotify for plenty of knowledgeable podcasters.

Dedicate at least an hour a day to exploring writing tools, and you'll build your skills.

How this tip helped me

When I was studying for my Creative Writing degree, the course content was exciting. Still, I needed more help converting the material into memory.

Watching videos excited me. I love TV shows and realised I'm a focused visual learner. So these coaching videos were a delightful way to adapt and study without me struggling with boredom.

I used Skillshare to challenge myself, learning to advance my skills in fiction plots, writing style and grammar. Thanks to the boost of these online courses, I generated a 2:1 degree.

Step three

Action words

The action moves stories forward. Without active words, writing fails to hook readers. The passive voice is less engaging and clear for readers.

Active words like believe, challenge, and delight connect with your reader.

I love producing content with action words; the result is directed writing. For inspiration, I use word indexes such as this one. You might notice that I've delivered many of these action words to boost this article!

I crafted the title of this blog to describe the focus of this article using action words, and it hooked you in!

The bottom line

Focusing on organising your schedule to shape your writing gives you the training to streamline your skills. Stimulate your writing muscles by exploring impactful educational resources. Connect better with your readers by delivering action words.

Now you have the craft tools, I want you to grasp these hacks to go and advance your writing skills. So bravely type, handwrite or dictate using the tips I've mapped out for you.

If you would like to boost my writing, I welcome any motivational feedback on this article! I believe all helpful engagement is precious.
