So I was sitting and enjoying my lunch when I am joined by my senior Trixie; who is a year ahead of me. Waiting patiently but dying of curiosity inside I wondered what she wanted. The unapproachable IceQueen is literally glowing and excitement is clearly seen in her eyes.

Going through anything and everything in my head I wonder the reason for her OC behavior, but I came up blank there was no result being announced today or any upcoming campus activity for that matter. Waiting for excitement to die down was going to be a long wait.

Finally she spoke and I found the reason for her excitement. She was getting married and I was being roped into being one of the bridesmaid. This is gonna be a hectic but I agreed. Didn't have a heart to say no, I believe wedding is the one day the bride should not make any compromises.

Returning to the class - I called my own the way telling her about the bridesmaid thing and how I will  be an hour or two late because I have to  head to the mall after the campus lets out. I can pretty much see a fight over the bridesmaid dress happening in my mind.

With about fifteen bridesmaids they are bound to have different opinions. Finalizing something is going to be hard. I just hope it does not end up in a cat fight.

Time Skip - 'Ting' 'Ting' - The classes for the day are done. Grabbing my bag I went to the gates, as I expected everyone is already there waiting. Waving I reach them and we head to the mall. I am being told that the wedding dress has already been selected, the location is the 'Jasmine Hall' in the 'Golden Light' restaurant and the theme selected is 'Victorian Age'.

So I guess we are going to end up in ball-gowns, hats and fans, finding something from that age is going to be hard for such a large number of people. I am assuming she already made an appointment with someone who can provide all this.

Entering the mall we were given smoothie treat from the bride to be before being pulled to the 10th floor. I wonder which language the shop name is because I can hardly pronounce it - I don't think it's english. We spread out looking at the dresses on the mannequins.

A thing that I find good about all this is that for this theme the dresses are going to be conservative. As I expected multiple choices were thrown around, trying to delay the inevitable I suggested that the measurements been taken before anything else.

Now we are back with few people mad, some giving silent treatment and the bride on the verge of pulling her hair or breaking down crying. It's the brides day she should be deciding how everthing goes, suggestions are all we can give what's the point of making her upset - it's not like she was asking an outrageous demand.

I guess this is one of the wedding dramas. We just lost three bridesmaids, oh well! A small price to pay for we have finally agreed on a dress but the headwear that each of us selected is different but the bride is happy and so are we - so I guess it's a victory.

Giving the dress for adjustments according to the measurements, we headed to the counter - all the while I was wondering who pays for the bridesmaid dress I have the necessary amount but this my first time being anyone's bridesmaid, in my culture the wedding does not have bridesmaid or anything like that.

I found it the bride who pays for it but the accessories going with it is paid by us. Happy! We leave the mall, I am dropped off at my home and I rush to my mom showing her the picture of the dress selected, and the entire thing that happpend at the mall.

Tell have you ever been in such a situation? Do comment and tell me if I should share how the wedding went?
