there arent more people with autism

its a numbers game

the new normal?

When a certain part of the internet starts shouting at me or when parents of autistic children speak up I tell them my qualifications. Firstly I am the parent of 2 adult autistic kids, I work with autistic adults and I have researched the subject for 35 years. I have had numerous on line arguments on the subjects, many of them trying to explain my headline argument.

The number of people with autism hasn’t suddenly risen, what has risen is the number of people diagnosed with autism. Its a big difference and explains the numbers rising. Also I have argued with many people who have extrapolated these figures to blame anything they can find for causing autism. Usually vaccines are blamed, especially fuelled by a certain governments health tsar.

The biggest problem is that he believes that vaccines are evil and are never placebo tested. To use a total placebo test a certain group of people would be given a vaccine and the other group nothing. This means the placebo group have to safety net, and wouldn’t know they didn’t have any back up.

Vaccines like the covid one are tested against an older version of the vaccine, therefore all have protection. The testing is then done on the results of these tests. The carrier part of the vaccines has been used many times before, the covid preventing part is relatively new and gets tested. Ignore the claims of millions of people being vaccine injured or killed by the vaccine. There would have been some, not anywhere near millions.

I saw posts that the reason some athletes had died young because of the vaccine, that there is a micro chip in the vaccine that goes into your body and the classic the mrna vaccine reprograms your cells. If you ask those who post the chips nonsense why they think that its because Bill Gates wants to track you. If you ask why they just say he wants to track you. If you point out they posted on social media, via an internet server and often by phone, all which track you. If you drive with a sat nav it tracks you, cctv cameras track you and if you use your mobile its location can be tracked. Why would Bill Gates pay billions to do what already exists.

Why Bill Gates would do any of the things he’s accused of is another story altogether.

Before we get back to autism , time to explain mrna, otherwise known as messenger ribonucleic acid. Firstly it is found naturally in EVERY live thing that exists, including people. It travels round the living thing taking messages to create proteins for use in the body. The mrna vaccines introduce a new instruction to the cells, once the message arrive the mrna in the vaccine dissolves. It therefore cant reprogram anything or alter dna. the cells create the viral protein and the immune system detects the invaders and kills them . This practice makes the body ready incase the invaders return with a live virus, e.g. covid.

So as the vaccines don’t alter anything long term, they only give the immune system some work, they don’t cause autism. The same as bad parenting doesn’t cause it, in fact almost every considered cause happens up till and including birth. parents age, medication taking before birth and problems during birth. These can alter how a child’s genes work in their development , also they can affect the child’s brain development.

This all leads to one thing, genes and genetics. Its not easy to marrow down the genes affected as many can lead to autism. The autistic traits can also be passed down from parents. The summary is autism has been caused up to and including birth, nothing after. Therefore it isn’t vaccines , never has been. In fact the vaccines don’t have a way of causing anything in the brain as they do their job and then fall on their sword.

Which leads me back to the first paragraph, people having autism hasn’t risen, its cases diagnosed that goes up. The testing has been refined and more people are requesting tests. The age range has risen as well, leading to the higher number. If you don’t get tested it doesn’t mean you don’t have the condition. If you are tested as being on the spectrum at 30 it doesn’t mean you didn’t have it at 3. I have heard and read many cases where people get the diagnosis late and then think back over their life. They then notice things that could have pointed to an earlier answer.

Some things to consider if you get a diagnosis or if your waiting for an answer. Firstly around 25% of people with autism have no learning problems or associated traits. Many of these people presumably weren’t tested in many cases as there was little or no signs. Unfortunately parents not seeing signs or ignoring signs can be added to some late diagnosis.

Around 50% have moderate learning delays and can have some extra conditions linked to the autism genes. Many of these can do most things for themselves but some will need help and support. The roughly 25% remaining will have the hardest time and are likely to need the most support and care. Autism doesn’t have a cure but there are medical routes to help someone with autism.

Finally a quick test, what do the following people have in common?

Einstein, Anthony Hopkins, Dan Akroyd, Tim Burton and Lionel Messi .

You probably guessed the answer, they all have autism.
