So, You Collect Tarot Decks?
If you belong to online communities of Tarot or oracle card readers, you see a lot of people who collect divination decks. It seems that some have a new deck or four coming in the mail weekly. Readers who have been reading cards for only a year or so may have one-hundred decks. Why? It’s hard to say what motivates collectors to accumulate what they collect. There are as many reasons as there are collectors. However, before stockpiling decks you may want to consider what motivates your collecting and how these decks serve you.

One Of a Kind Empowerment
It was like a dream or waking up out of a type of nightmare, that landed me right in front of a very empowering lady and overall wonderful, amazing lady named Rev. Valerie Love. I was looking into joining a very beautiful and successful network marketing company that I had been researching for its amazing organic and natural products to try myself and also thought it would be a great way to be able to make some extra money for my family that could also support our healthy lifestyle and family farm. Rev. Valerie Love was one of the few top leaders I was drawn to connecting with for more information, as she was also leading in many other ways for herself and assisting others that were looking for financial freedom and overall freedom to live healthy and happy, doing it in a way that fit their own, unique lifestyles, no matter who they were or what kind of lifestyle they enjoyed and embraced. She was also known to me and many others, as a top leader in network marketing, which was new to me, and also as an amazing, successful entrepreneur for many years already. And she still currently is one the most amazing entrepreneurs I know by the way. Dedicating a story about her seems to be one the most fitting gifts of Love I could share on her behalf and so many others, because she has literally inspired more men and women than anyone I personally know in this lifetime. And she still continues to inspire and empower people all over the world every single day through her various methods and outlets like YouTube and real, living in person workshops held around the globe for those that have the ability to travel with her. I want to acknowledge her here in this story first and foremost because she deserves the absolute best recognition possible, and also, because she is what this particular story challenge is all about.

Florida Water
Agua De Florida which translates to Florida Water. The name references the "Fountain of Youth," said to be located in Florida. It made it's debut in the United States in 1808, popular among both men and women as an alcohol based, unisex cologne. Discovering it's myriad of uses, like curing a headache, relieving sore muscles, bug bites or even a sunburn; Florida water became a popular staple as a 'sacred water' amidst Santeria, Vudou, Hoodoo, and Wiccan practitioners.

Free Weekly Reading #6 for 2021 Mirror Dragon Tarot
Free Weekly Reading #6 for 2021 Mirror Dragon Tarot Each week when I do these readings I set up my reading space with black fabric, (for the photo, mostly but it also allows for and smooth, calm space to focus on the cards) make sure I have undisturbed quiet time; dogs are out, husband is at work/play/store/whatever, phone is off, etc… I begin with a quick grounding meditation and settle into a centered peace to ask for guidance in choosing the cards which will be most appropriate for the week ahead. I shuffle the cards with my intent in mind and spread them in a dealer’s “ribbon spread”. Then with eyes closed, I ask for the Center card, the West card and finally, the East card, reaching out to the spread, touching the cards and choosing the one that feels most fully under my finger tip, then sliding them into their positions. Before opening my eyes I return to a calm, centered state and do my best to sense whether the three cards I’ve chosen are the most fitting for the highest and best for all involved. Only then do I turn them face up and photograph them for the reading. There are times when I see the three cards before me and groan or breathe a sigh of relief but I always use the cards I’ve selected ”blindly”.

Clearing Your Tarot or Oracle Deck
I’ve been seeing a lot of new readers ask about clearing their Tarot cards. They ask the following questions most frequently. What does this mean? Do I need to do it? How can I clear my cards? For those that need this information, or who just want to see how another reader does this, here is a quick explanation of the ways I’ve learned to accomplish this task. All the following methods may be used for any divination deck, not just Tarot. Therefore, I will use the words Tarot, oracle or divination deck interchangeably.

An Impromtu Spiritual Adventure
I went to the beach today. I have always liked the beach, always felt drawn to it. As a kid, I lived in the middle of the desert and the beach was over 2 hours away. Needless to say, I never really went. My mom was super sick when I was a kid, suffering from chronic nerve pain. She went to the doctor in San Diego a lot. So, every month, sometimes a couple times a month, we took a small road trip. It began usually early in the morning, piling water and blankets/pillows into the car to make the ride a little more comfortable. We would stop and Jack in the Box for breakfast. Still, to this day, I crave a Breakfast Jack combo on long car rides.

Whom did he call?
Having a friend, who worked so hard all his life to where he is now, "I have to say I worry," because he came into enough money to carry out his dream and now he has the chance to use his black book. In his book are the people he knows and worked so hard to meet in his life. So, "I ask myself whom did he call? or did he just stick to the plan."

Spirituality, Chakras, Meditation, and Astrology
Growing up in a religious household, going to church once or twice a week, being expected to read the bible, are all things I think most human beings can relate to on some level, regardless of religion or faith we follow. We grow up following our parent or guardians way of life and our first belief system is their belief system. For myself I grew up practicing my faith in a non-denominational Christian church. I was introduced to Astrology and the Chinese Zodiac around middle school, roughly 11-13 years of age. I had learned from the Chinese Restaurants that each year is dedicated to an animal; pig, rat, oxen, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster, and dog. And every twelve years the cycle begins again and continues on until time no longer exists.

Understanding Soul Contracts
In the spiritual realm, our soul contracts are important but they are not something that is really spoken about. Which is a little strange, I think because our soul contracts are an essential part of who we are and our journey here on earth. And as a Quantum Akashic Guide, I’ve come to learn and appreciate the importance of these contacts, not just in my life, but in the lives of my clients.

Mantras for a Fresh Start in 2021
Since last year, 2020 I’ve been on a spiritual journey. I felt the need to break free from a decade of living my life for other people. Now that 2021 is here and the vision that came to light back in 2020 has allowed me to get to know myself all over again, but in a different perspective. Because I’m into Astrology heavily, I started getting in tune with my natal chart and started to realize certain things for what they were. What I mean is that, I took accountability and faced all my problems – childhood trauma, family conflicts, as well as toxic friendships/relationships. On my spiritual journey I learned for sure that not everyone is meant to have access to me. Although, within myself I’m a very generous, yet understanding person and like to be some form of help to individuals who lack friends or family who they can vent to.

F stands for Fuck it.
Setting the stage in a Planet Fitness in the West end of Atlanta, Georgia. Now take a walk with me into the multiverse that is social and general anxiety. It has been almost a year since the pandemic, and equally so, since I have been inside a sweaty gym. Usually the gyms is social anxiety's playground where everyone can see how “bad my form is”, but when I was there all I could concentrate on was the fact that: there are too many people for my own comfort, I know these people ain’t really cleaning the equipment that well, and why are they allowing folks to not wear a mask?
