My Aims for the Summer
Before we get into what my aims, goals and plans are for the summer; let me introduce you to me and my story... Hi, I'm Kat—A Psychology Student from England. If I was to sum myself up in a sentence it would be, a girl with large aspirations and too many ideas. One main factor of my life at this particular moment in time is the fact that I have a stomach issue that causes me constant nausea, evenings and days of feeling unwell, and not wanting to leave the house, and generally leaving me feeling annoyed as I slowly stop doing the things that I used to love. I have also found myself to be increasingly anxious, mainly due to this. However, this summer I aim to change this. Having suffered with this for long enough (three years) with no doctor or psychologist giving me any explanation of what is going on; I have decided to try and fix it myself through changing my lifestyle and what I put into my body.

Keep Your Brain Young and Healthy with Music
You want to exercise your body—do sports; you want to exercise your brain—use music! From listening to playing, music is highly beneficial for improving different areas of brain functioning. Although it may seem of purely artistic nature, music is a blend of architectural, structural, and mathematical properties as well. We may not be aware of it, but there’s a lot that your brain needs to compute in order to grasp music thoroughly. This makes it a multi-dimensional activity which can positively change different areas of your life.

Seriously, Do Your Physical Therapy Exercises
When you get hurt and need to see a physical therapist, take it seriously. Seriously. I tore a ligament in my knee when I was 14 playing water polo, and was assigned to a physical therapist for months. Being an edgy teen, lying on my back for 15 minutes a day, and learning to re-bend my knee joint was just too much (insert melodramatic expression here). It’s been almost ten years, and my knee is still giving me trouble, as a result of my ignorance and laziness back then.

The word is out and honey is in! For centuries, honey has been used around the world for its medicinal healing properties that assist the body both inside and out. For example, when struggling with allergies, you can eat a honey that is locally produced in the area you live in; therefore acclimating the sinuses to the pollen it is fighting against. It's very important to study and concentrate on the many lessons you've learned during that difficult period of your life. The Getaway
We all know how hectic and stressful every-day life can be. Between getting the kids ready for school, going to work, stopping by the grocery store to pick up a few items, putting those items in the car then rushing home in five o'clock traffic, cooking dinner, helping the kids with homework, getting the kids washed up, reading them a bedtime story, and then reading our mate a bedtime story, by the time we actually get to fall asleep, we realize we've had little to no "me time"!
