At Burn Boot Camp, We Don’t Stop. We Modify.
Quarantine has affected people in different ways. Many have been laid off of work or transitioned to working from home. Other essential employees have continued working and have had to deal with significant adjustments. Some people live alone and have been isolated without family, while others are confined in a busy house with many people unable to continue usual routines.

Basic to Bikini: 28 weeks out - habits + routine
I’ve got a lot of feels at this point. You know when you have so many thoughts that your brain just kind of goes silent? That’s where I’m at. There is a lot going on right now, not just for me, but for everyone – you know, that pesky virus and all. But I’m determined to stick to my prep as best as I can, although my Coles is making that a tad difficult with the obvious lack of chicken breast, beef mince and turkey mince on the shelves. Ah hello, I have macros to meet..

Kong Fit Club: Work(out) From Home
If there’s one thing I’ve learned in quarantine thus far, it’s just how important community truly is. I don’t know about you, but I have definitely upped my screen time by watching Instagram Lives of those from both my personal life and public figures from all walks of life around the world. Getting a glimpse into someone’s personal life (and home) and seeing that they are going through the exact same struggles as you is ironically comforting. It levels the playing field and brings a sense of connection everyone can feel, even through our screens.

Best at home fitness apps
This is a tough time for everyone there's no denying that. But desperate times do call for desperate measures and just because we are all stuck in quarantine due to the COVID-19 virus outbreak doesn't mean we get to slack off. (Ok we do a little bit). Perhaps it's my new found motivation since being on Trikafta... or perhaps it's because I'm stuck at home with nothing else to do... or it could simply be my narcissistic personality shining through as I pretend to be a tip-top person. Nevertheless, as I have nothing better to do i decided to try and improve my exercise regime. I don't have enough will power to do it on my own so I bless modern technology and use apps. Here are some of my favourites fitness apps that I have been using even pre-isolation:

How I Get the Most Out of My At-Home Workouts
I used to be what I like to call a yo-yo exerciser. I’d go through phases where I have to work out every day (or sometimes even twice a day), and then a month later I’d mope while tying my sneakers for the first time in two weeks. Exercising was about much more than just the workout. I tend to feel a little silly doing full body workouts in front of strangers at the gym. While I didn’t completely cancel my membership, I’ve found I work out best when I’m alone. Home training in my living room is my happy place.

Home Gyms are just better
To be really honest: How much do you like your gym? Not really that much? No wonder – over 30% of every Gym members never actually go to the gym. That’s not all just down to them being unfit or couch potatoes. Most of us just don’t really like gyms. They are crowded, noisy, the music is hardly to everyone’s taste and the showers... well let’s just not talk about the showers.
