Fasting and Exercise
A common question and the underlying uncertainty that gave birth to Fastingsport, my blog is—What happens if you are fasting and chose to work out? Can you work out and fast? Will, you go into some catabolic state and lose all your muscle gains or endurance? Are you going to end up with brittle nails, hair loss and sickly? You here these myths often in conversations involving nutrition and exercise. Most athletes wouldn’t even consider fasting. They operate on a caloric surplus, eating once every couple of hours, up to seven meals a day. Some eat huge amounts of food to “fuel their workout." Is this necessary?

What Is Happening?
Nowadays, there are many people with allergies and intolerance. I know that you know that. Recently though I have realised something quite annoying, I could say. What is it? People making allergies a trend. This is what annoys me, drives me crazy. I have several friends who tried to make a trend out of it, by pretending they are lactose-free, dairy free, or gluten free, but next minute post cheesecake in all its might in a coffee shop; believe me, this stuff is not lactose or dairy free, neither gluten free.

Being a Vegetarian
After deciding to go on a vegetarian diet two years ago, I have answered my fair share of questions and put to rest concerns from strangers who are worried for my health. Becoming and choosing to maintain a vegetarian life style can be challenging for many reasons. However, if you do it right, it can be so worth it!

Nutrition After "I Do" . Top Story - October 2018.
I don’t usually talk about this very much on media because I am a lot more focused on writing poetry, some prose, and of course, taking care of my small online business with selling body butter. However, recently I have observed differing trends, like people doing many different diets like whole30, keto, etc. I felt a need to share this because of differing public opinions regarding how to take care of our bodies… inside and out.

Whittle the Waist
I hated being skinny when I was a child. The other kids would tease me because my clothes were always too big. I didn’t even need a bra until I was 15, and even then it was more for show than because I really needed one. I actually only weighed 99 pounds when I graduated from high school. Even when I was older and gave birth to four children, my weight zoomed right back down after the deliveries. I could basically eat anything I wanted and not gain a single pound.

So You're a Glutard
A Glutard is someone who has been diagnosed with either a gluten intolerance, or Celiac Disease. So you’ve been diagnosed with Celiac Disease. Now what? Well, first off, you need to know that there’s a huge difference between having a gluten intolerance and Celiac Disease. A gluten intolerance is when your body, simply put, does not process gluten very well. This can cause bloating, indigestion, and acne among other symptoms. Celiac’s, however, is an autoimmune disease. While some of the symptoms may overlap, Celiac’s can cause much greater damage later on if not taken care of. One major difference is the topic of cross-contamination. This is when gluten comes into contact with non-gluten food items and contaminates the food. This can occur with shared pans, fryers, utensils, cutting boards, etc. While someone who is just gluten intolerant can handle cross-contamination a bit more, someone with Celiac’s will have to be cautious and avoid it.

How to Actually Implement an Anti-Inflammatory Diet
If you’re reading this, chances are you’ve spent a lot of time (or are about to spend a lot of time) researching inflammation in the body and anti-inflammatory foods. It’s a deep, dark rabbit hole of information, trust me. And while it’s very easy to find out what foods count as anti-inflammatory, it’s much more difficult to find a comprehensive guide on how to create an anti-inflammatory diet.
