A Heartwarming Encounter: Autumn Days at the pediatric ward
It had been an exhausting day on campus, filled with endless tasks and a constant stream of patients at the Pediatric Ward and the autumn season had brought a wave of illnesses, with children flooding in with common colds, coughs, and fevers. Taking Sleep for Granted
Humans will spend half of their lives sleeping, which is why sleep is essential to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Prolonged positive effects can be seen in individuals who have healthy sleep habits. The benefits include keeping people up and energized throughout the day, as well as allowing their brains and muscles to further mature and grow. The Little Shack. Top Story - December 2023.
It was a tiring day on campus. I couldn't even get a second to catch my breath. The autumn season was here, and it was getting chilly. The Pediatric Ward of our hospital was beginning to seem understaffed due to the increase in patients. The kids were coming in with common cold, cough, and pyrexia. Parents were distressed, and if one sibling got sick, the others followed. It was a hard time managing the patients and counseling the upset parents. I didn't even get a fifteen-minute break. My fellow classmates and I were running haywire to get everything done on time.

Pushing back the curtains, I saw it was still dark outside - the sun had yet to rise.
