What is Aromatherapy?

Aromatherapy is the use of any aromatic plant extracts and essential oils for healing and beauty regimes, commonly used essential oils are lavender, patchouli, and rosemary.

Around 3,500 bc the Egyptians were using aromatherapy in ways of beauty, healing the mind, body and soul, and in the process of preserving there deceased. If aromatherapy can be linked back so far there must be magic in the form of greenery given to us by our home plant(earth).

Healing powers, in the form of a scent, is how I understand aromatherapy, magic.

Self care tip

go out and buy whatever oil and or incense of your liking, then take your supplies to the bathroom, burn your aroma, while taking a warm bath, relax, just enjoy the aroma's scent as it flows through the air. Don't like baths but wanna do some drawing, burn some eucalyptus, I read eucalyptus can help clear the mind.

I use the form of aromatherapy such as burning incense which we will discuss later, when I use certain scents I feel differences throughout my body so I can first hand say aromatherapy is considered nature magic because aromas bring a sense of healing energy, for each part of your body try different scents example Rosemary is great for self healing, physically, rosemary helps with hair growth, strengthen your memory, and increase circulation, Spiritually speaking rosemary can benefit you in areas such as gaining peace of mind, release built up emotions(anger, sadness, etc), and also helps cleanse and purify psychics.

Essential Oils come from plants, the oil is extracted from the plant, following a distillation process, now I have never done this I have looked up and there are companies that sells kits in order for you to extract and distill you own essential oil, however these oils are very thick, and not a lot is needed when using so keep in mind less is better.

There are many different ways to use essential oils just know you can absorb them but always distill before you apply to your skin. Using drops in a bath is a great way to relax and unwind. Diffusers are a great object you can buy and drop a couple drops of essential oil whichever you choose, turn it on and let the mist feel the air and enjoy.

A Patchouli Plant, patchouli is used for anti-inflammatory, anti depressant, and soothes the nervous system.

+INCENSE, incense are just another form of ways to use essential oils, incense are created through a fairly easy process, google has a lot of diy help for these techniques. I have not created my own but I do buy them at any local holistic shop or liquor stores, simply they are a stick that is dipped in the oil and when burning these the scent is very strong. My go to is frankincense, patchouli, and sandalwood which are all great scents that help through my spiritual journey into rediscovering who I am.

aromatherapy is nature magic that has been a tradition throughout some of the oldest history, my favorite was learning that Egyptians used them in so many ways earlier I had stated some ways but did you also know that Egyptians have given the name to incense's the "Fragrance of Gods", they would hold incense ceremonies that would give so much healing energy in The Temples in which the ceremonies were held. So healing is what everyone needs we all fall and break at some point so learn about magic that exist from before we even knew about it.

Aromatherapy is a form of magic, as I will forever know as Nature Magic.
