Natural Cure for Cholesterol

A simple home remedy backed by Ayurveda

By Rohitha LankaPublished 9 months ago 3 min read

If cholesterol is high, that's the medicine.

There are two ways in which the body acquires cholesterol. That is, from the substances we consume and as cholesterol that is naturally produced in the human body.

Cholesterol that comes from food is what's called exogenous cholesterol in Ayurveda and cholesterol that is produced in the body is called endogenous cholesterol.

Therefore chances of the people with high blood cholesterol being blocked off by coronary arteries are high. These are vulnerable patients as they are prone to heart attacks, and now there is an increase in deaths due to heart attacks around the world.''

There are a number of extremely sophisticated treatments on cholesterol in local medicine also, though, often patients with high blood cholesterol level take up western medical treatment.

But someone with increased blood cholesterol levels have to refer to local treatments when suggested by the doctor. As such, it's not really okay to put the classes of medications for controlling cholesterol in an article like this. But the topic of this article is a home remedy that you can do at home and use without any side effects.

This medicine is made up of some commonly available spices that we use in everyday life at home. It is turmeric, tamarind leaves, black cumin, curry leaves, goraka, and garlic. One such seasoning is goraka, which is a very sour nut. Its acidic flavor can lower cholesterol. Goraka is one of the heart-healthy spices that are local to the country, that promote appetite and burn body fat. Curry leaves can also lower levels of blood cholesterol. The leaves of the curry tree, employed in a variety of medicinal and other treatments, can be a star-herb as well. Garlic is an excellent blood purifier, and it also helps in reducing blood cholesterol. Its antioxidant content is also very strong. Turmeric is the same. Its curative powers are not unfamiliar to the world. Turmeric also has purification of blood, apart from decreasing cholesterol content. Effective against: Black cumin: It is astringent, it cures cholesterol and air, and mucus (phlegm). 1. Grind the uluhal, black cumin, tamarind leaves, goraka, curry leaves, and garlic together. 2. All the other ingredients must be ground together.

In case it is hard, goraka may be soaked for some time. Plus, you can grind it down with a bit of hot water so that it's easy to eat. This should be refrigerated (and not in a freezer) and approximately the size of the fruit of a tibbatu should be eaten daily.

How to Eat this Medicine. If you already have high cholesterol in the blood, you just need to eat this medicine for four to five days a week. It must be specially pointed out that this does not contradict other Western medicines you are taking. This medicine may be prescribed even if your cholesterol is not dangerously high.

But it is not something someone needs to take every day. Eat a few fenugreek seeds with your meals 2-3 times a week, and you also don't have to worry about cholesterol levels anymore. There are also some that include cinnamon bark to this paste. Cinnamon bark is of course a spice and may lower cholesterol levels and offers antioxidant effects. However we dont need to use cinnamon bark for this.

The garlic and ginger are backed up by modern research. Follow! In the meantime, you can manage your cholesterol by sweating through your laundry and exercising regularly while staying on these drugs. There is harmful cholesterol in meat from animals.

This holistic remedy provides a natural, sustainable alternative to dealing with cholesterol, using ingredients you already have in your kitchen, from any household. It works great with proper, moderate exercise as well as a healthy diet and doesn't interfere with Western medicine. By adopting such age-old Ayurvedic techniques, you can avoid post-COVID complications and keep your overall health intact.

Among them, pork. Beef, shrimp, lobster, and squid are the leading ones to avoid for health.
