Life with Chronic Migraines
Migraines are not a one-size-fits-all illness. Some may only have one or two migraines in their life; others suffer from migraines on a regular basis. The statistics for migraines show that nearly 13% of Americans suffer from migraines and nearly 3% suffer from regular migraines. Migraines in this pattern are commonly known as chronic migraines and are what approximately 1,110,000 people suffer from in America. I am one of the 37 million total migraineurs in the United States and I'm here to tell you what it's like to suffer from chronic migraine pain.

When I was managing a very large natural medicines clinic I would get phone calls from people asking if they could work with us. I would always ask where the person trained and what qualifications they had. A reply along the lines” you don't understand I am intuitive not trained” would get a very quick termination of the telephone call.

The Life and Death of the Naturopathic Movement
Benedict Lust, ND, DO, MD (February 3, 1872 - September 5, 1945), born in Michelbach, Germany, was one of the founders of naturopathic medicine. When Lust worked as a waiter in Baden-Baden, Geneva, and then New York City, New York, he became ill. Lust thought that it could have been tuberculosis and thought that he did not have long to live, so he went back to Germany and was looking for anything that could act as a cure.

DNR: It's a term that a lot of people have not heard before and may not understand. It is commonly used in hospitals and nursing homes to designate patients who don't care to receive "heroic measures" to sustain life. The non-abbreviated term is "do not resuscitate."
