First Mental Health Month During Covid-19
October is Mental Health Month, and in many ways, this has never been as important as it is in 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic has had huge impacts on people’s mental health in Australia and around the world. It is now essential that we find ways of helping each other through these difficult times.

This Is Why I Practice Yoga
If you work in an office, there’s probably one thing you have too much of. Stress. And another thing you don’t do enough of might just be exercise. My interest in yoga came to fruition because it seemed to promise a partial solution to both of those problems. Here’s why I pay for a yoga membership; it’s expensive, but I love it. I was a chronic gym-hated, but yoga has helped me get routine exercise.

Dear crohns
Dear crohn’s…. It’s been just over five years since you were properly introduced to me, face to face. Looking back on it all the feelings I had, the fear, the wondering, the shock… they were some of the most valid feelings in my past. I have spent the last two years fighting to win in an on-going and forever battle with you, and I think that for the most part I was successful. I hit bumps but I always overtook you, my mind always conquered. Even when you would attack I was able to rely on my mind for the support and courage to overtake you. I always saw past the attacks, I may have struggled at times, but I won time and time again.

Signs And Symptoms Of COVID-19
On these uncertain times that we are facing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we need to know and monitor ourselves of the signs and symptoms of this disease in order for us to manage it sooner before it gets worst. Perhaps, most of us, or all of us rather, are obedient with the 'new normal' by wearing masks and even face shields when we go out of our homes, believing and trying to protect ourselves and the people around us. But do we also know what are the signs and symptoms of COVID-19 that we have to watch out for apart from fever and chills (i reckon its the basic sign that everybody knows).

Achieving Mental Liberation
Recently I was introduced to an idea that has caused a paradigm shift in my approach to mindfulness. The archway leading to some sort of awakening or transcendence was missing its keystone - unbeknownst to me. I was chasing my own tail, feeling brief moments of success only to find that I had duped myself yet again.

Just One Thing
Life can be overwhelming. There's always so much to do and so little time to do it in. It's easy to just get so overcome by what needs done that you can't summon the energy to do it all. It seems like a never ending list of chores. We spend 8 hours of our day at work then come home and we're supposed to make a healthy dinner, help kids with homework, (or home schooling as is the case in many places now) and somewhere in there find time to exercise and get a full nights sleep. Some days that's just not happening.
