My Path to Wellness
My Path to Wellness Finding my way to a healthy body, mind and spirit This is the story of my chosen path to find my optimal health. It started when I was a child. My mom was obese, and when I was 5 she told me “you just wait, one day you will be fat like me.” I heard it as a threat. She was always in a moo moo dress and the kids at school would laugh at her as they would ask who's mom she was. I was walking home alone shortly after first grade started. Not because I wanted to, but I didn't want to listen to the kids making fun of her any more.

Zero Gravity Massage Chair
Gravity Massage Chair, now if you where a modern day king or queen these are the chairs you’d be sitting on. If you are looking for the ultimate I mean ultimate in relaxation from a chair this is it. Think about it do you really think NASA would develop a chair what was uncomfortable to fly a shuttle or rocket to out space? No! I couldn’t think of a more stressful situation then getting to space and I’d definitely would want to be in a zero gravity massage chair while doing it! Another great thing about these chairs is they are proven to relieve back pain and muscle tension. They also can increase your circulation to help reduce pressure on your spine and heat.

The Peace I've Found.
Sometimes I think about how, for someone who's only twenty-two years old, I seem to be dealing with a nice and heavy hand of health-issues. You ever carried around a bowling ball in your bag? Probably not, and I haven't either, but for the sake of analogy I just mean to say: You can imagine that, after a while, it would get pretty heavy. I've just been fighting these issues for so long it might be time to admit that it's finally gotten to me.

The Five F's of Wellness
So often, the word "wellness" becomes synonymous with a healthy weight. To me, however, wellness encompasses so much more. While nutritious food choices and an exercise regimen that work for you are important, I believe that wellness should also consider the mental and spiritual aspects of living. My wellness resolutions for 2021 aim to improve all areas of my life that I consider important. My "Five F's" of Wellness for 2021 are food, fun, faith, family, and fire.

Celebrities are Gods. Comparison plagues the world consistently. It seems as if nobody owns their own life. Everyone wants to be the next star. Deep down, within every human soul, rests a burning passion to become something more. A potential seed planted in everyone, this “selfishness” is far from wrong. However, so many of us have received false programming; the lot of humanity fails to recognize their personal strengths, instead choosing idolatry, mixed with envy, towards a fellow brother. What we fail to realize is that the only way to experience a dream come true is to willfully be the hero! Due to lack of confidence, not many stand strong enough to picture themselves fulfilling their dreams; therefore they praise someone else achieving these feats for them. A training of their mind would serve humanity tremendously.

A Fat Girl's Manifesto
***TRIGGER WARNING*** There's no way to tell where it all really, truly started. It could have all started as a playful joke about the cookies and snacks I'd stacked high on my plastic lunch tray to compensate for waking up late and being forced to skip breakfast.
