Butterfly Bill & the Magical Butterfly Birthing Tree
I have a magical butterfly birthing tree on my balcony. When I first witnessed a butterfly being born on one December morning before Christmas it felt like a gentle miracle. It was the messenger of hope-fullness, transformation & beauty I didn't know I had needed so much until it arrived, coaxed into a premature departure from 'the womb' by my Staffy X, Crumpet, who'd taken an interest in the butterfly hatching, his wet nose nudging it into first flight, an unlikely kind of midwife...and then she was gone, on her way to greet the wild world.

Growing Up With Fat Parents: How it Affected Me
Dear Reader, please note that it is not my intention to shame or offend anyone in this article. Weight is a very sensitive matter for many people – a private war that is so much more than what many may assume to be simply a “lack of self-control” or “discipline” when it comes to food.

The Dualistic Nature of Wellness Leaks
Our awareness of the areas of wellness is essential to finding fulfillment in our lives. Lack of awareness is nothing more than neglecting responsibility from a certain area or areas of wellness. This can appear in a variety of forms. It can show up financially by not checking our bank accounts because we are afraid of what we might find. It may emerge physically by not stepping on the scale or going to the doctor, because we are afraid to know what we feel is true. This awareness can even apply to spirituality by not checking in with ourselves or asking what deepest desires are. This is often because we are afraid of what we must do when we discover them.

Breaking the chains of paralysis
On the evening of October 29th 2019 I was hit with an Ischemic Stroke. That evening itself was scary as hell. I had to fight like hell to make it outside my apartment complex to catch a ride to the emergency room and then stay awake, thinking this was it because I had no idea at the time what was going on.Only to finally awaken in a hospital bed not able to move then left side of my body at all. The damage the stroke did was to my right frontal lobe in my brain which destroyed my brain’s ability to operate my left arm and left leg. It has been that way ever since.

WARNING: May Cause Feelings of Guilt
When my 75 year-old mom and I got our first doses of the Moderna vaccine last week, I was so focused on getting us there on time with all the right paperwork that I never stopped to think how I actually felt about any of it. If anything, I was starting to feel a sense of relief for the first time in 10 months — relief that in several weeks, her life could start to get back to something that looks a little more like normal. Between her utter fear of the virus and two hip surgeries, she has barely left her home the entire pandemic. Hospitals, medical appointments and the occasional visit to my house have been her only outings. At this point, a trip to the grocery store would feel like a luxury vacation.

TESTO MAX IS EXTREMELY POTENT!
Like many, at the beginning of the year, I aspire to lose weight and get into better physical shape. At forty-eight it's a good goal to have for a lot of reasons; longevity, ability, quality of life, and common sense. Most of us just want to live our best possible life. So why not try whatever is offered?

Should I Risk Seeing A Dentist?
Unless you’re in pain, you might wonder why you would even risk seeing a dentist right now with all the advances in home dental care products. Is it really that important to get a checkup? A cleaning? If you don’t have a toothache, it may be tempting to just take care of your teeth at home for now. After all, there are many excellent electric toothbrushes, and even those that clean your teeth with ultrasonics, available today to the general public.

A Dirt-Cheap Way to Get Rid of Those Facial Sags and Bags
A few weeks ago, I looked in the mirror and saw…a pachyderm. Okay, that’s a little extreme. I’ve gained a few pounds but not that much. That was just my cheeky way of saying that the pandemic, along with the stress of the election, restless nights, and life shit in general, have not been kind to my face.
