The Queer Stickers That Terrified ‘Gender Critical’ Feminists
I keep thinking about a child. They’re in a school library in Glasgow. Maybe they’re ten, maybe twelve. They’re quiet. The kind of quiet that makes adults proud and teachers overlook. Maybe they’ve already figured out they’re not like the others. Maybe they don’t have the words yet. Maybe they just know they feel different, like they’re living slightly out of focus.

How I Trained Myself to Love the Quiet Before Sunrise
There was a time in my life when mornings felt like an ambush. The alarm would shriek into the darkness, and I’d hit snooze again and again, hoping to silence not just the sound but the day itself. I used to think early mornings were for overachievers and rigid routines — things that didn’t feel like me.

Healthy Man: Encouraging Men to Prioritize Their Health
By: Paul Claybrook, MS, MBA In today’s socio-political climate, it’s easy to get caught up in the momentum of political correctness and overlook the legitimate need to address men’s health as a priority equal to that of women’s. Regardless of ideological leanings, one reality remains self-evident: men and women are biologically distinct. Men, on average, exhibit higher basal metabolic rates, possess denser skeletal frames, have proportionally different organ sizes, exhibit lower resting heart rates, and naturally develop greater muscle mass. These physiological distinctions highlight the importance of recognizing what it truly means to be a healthy man. Male health and fitness should not be viewed as secondary or incidental, but as a central component of overall wellness. Their accelerated metabolism necessitates nutritional strategies that align with their unique physiological demands.

In a Season of Darkness, Grow Towards the Light
"Pain is unavoidable. Suffering is optional." As a healthy man soon to turn eighty, I was struck four months ago by multiple myeloma. Myeloma is a blood cancer, an intensely painful condition in the bone marrow that over time can weaken and hollow out one's spine and other bones. It can feel like a leaden anchor relentlessly pulling you underwater. Conventional pain medicines have done little to alleviate this pain. I am largely confined to a recliner by day and a bed by night. While experiencing a harrowing, inescapable level of physical anguish, I've developed a new relationship with pain that has revealed a way of being I hadn't imagined possible prior to the onset of this cancer. I've described these discoveries to my medical team and they've urged me to share them with those enduring intense physical pain. I describe them not as a prescription for others but simply as one individual's journey of discovery, an evolving personal response to a common, inescapable challenge.
