Five Pathways to Spiritual Healing
There is a cure for every sickness. All it takes is for us to explore.

How are you?
No, how are you really?
When it comes to damage, there is more than what meets the eye. As your body adheres to cuts and bruises, your spirit and soul do as well. You may not even know, but the emotional baggage you carry every day can leave you exhausted and vulnerable. You can bandage your wounds, go to the doctor and get a prescription to refer the case.
Whether it is problems in a relationship or the death of a loved one, the severity is unbearable. But where do we go to heal the spirit?
There is a cure for every sickness. All it takes is for us to explore.
Luckily there are healing methods that can help us heal and recover from our traumas spiritually.
Let’s discuss five pathways to spiritual healing.
1. Meditation
Perhaps the most common and effective form of spiritual healing is meditation. It consists of a technique called “mindfulness,” where the individual is entirely present in the moment. Your mind is constantly thinking, shrouded in intrusive thoughts that distract you from the one thing that matters the most – the present. Meditation helps you return to reality. It helps you see through the chaos and live in the moment without worrying. Taking five to ten minutes of your day to meditate can slowly and gradually help your spirit calm down and stabilize. The most beautiful thing about meditation is that it isn’t merely sitting in one place and focusing on your breath. Even dancing or other physical activities count as meditation!
2. Yoga
The word yoga is derived from the Sanskrit term “Yuji,” which means a union or a yoke. Yoga harmonizes your mind and body. At first glance, yoga may look like an exercise that helps make your body flexible. This is true. However, it also helps you heal the effects of trauma and bring balance to your life. Users may experience emotional and mental stability through it.
3. Mantras
Mantras are practiced to achieve transformation, self-awareness, purification, and healing. Chanting mantras helps you energize and relax your body. The thing is, your body and mind work in synergy toward your goals. Practicing your mantra can really help you change your life for the better.
4. Affirmations
How you talk to yourself is essential to what makes you who you are. Affirmations are positive statements that help you fade out negative thinking patterns responsible for bringing you down. It manifests the law of attraction and promotes self-belief. People often underestimate the true power of affirmations, but if they are used correctly, they can be a powerful tool.
5. Retreats
Sometimes, all you need to do is escape from all the negativity. Cleanse your aura through retreats by traveling to a place away from the bells and whistles of the city. Let your friends tag along and take some time off from the stresses of life. You can also combine these five points for the perfect spiritual experience.
In the book Sarabeth and the Five Spirits by Beth Gineris, we see the protagonist, Sara, taking her friends on a retreat in New Mexico to reconcile and weave their way back to the tapestry of life. They encounter mesmerizing spiritual phenomena such as astral spirit guides, unsettling dreams, and mythical heroes on their journey.
