A Simple Process For Greater Success and Happiness in Life
Throwing mud at the wall doesn't achieve lasting success.
Success in life is a matter of making it happen, and part of making it happen is establishing routines that help you move closer to your goals.
Too many people desire to be happy and successful, but their strategy is similar to throwing mud at a wall and seeing what might stick.
Sometimes a little bit sticks. Most times, not much.
The Foundational Basics
First, your definition of success matters and informs the rest of the process. The same principles work for everyone.
*Housewife
*Young mother
*Office worker
*Factory worker
*Business man
*College student
*(You name them)
Second, it's important to set aside time each day to dream about and work on your goals. Focused time will help you stay on track and make progress.
Third, decide on a system that works for you. One size does not fit all. This will help you use your time more efficiently. Some experimentation to help you decide what is good for you can be helpful. However, don't allow your experimenting to become a run-away horse that never crosses the finish line.
Fourth, it's also important to consider your progress regularly and celebrate your accomplishments. This will keep you motivated and inspired to continue working towards your goals. Establishing actionable routines, help set us up for a successful journey.
Fifth, Never forget gratitude. In the morning, noon, and night. A regular lifestyle of appreciation is the helium that helps the balloon rise. Not only for the big accomplishments, but for the seedlings.
Routines Are Kings
One important key to success is having a morning routine that sets you up for the day. This means having a sequence of activities that you perform every morning.
A few things that should be included in your morning routine are breakfast, exercise, and reading of motivational material.
I personally enjoy inspirational quotes like these:
"Success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts." - Winston S. Churchill
And another by Winston S. Churchill:
"The pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity. The optimist sees opportunity in every difficulty."
Morning routines will help to get your metabolism going, energize you for the day ahead and get your mind focused on positive thoughts. Adopting the same practice in the evening book-ends the process and helps seal the deal.
Wisdom Others Have Established Adds An Advantage
It is often said that wisdom comes with age. As we get older, we have a greater wealth of experience to draw upon, and we learn from our mistakes.
However, wisdom is not just something that comes with time; it can also be found in the advice of others. The wise know the value of learning from others, and they are always open to hearing what others have to say.
When we take the time to listen to the advice of those who have gone before us, we can save ourselves a lot of heartache and pain. By taking the time to listen to the direction of others, we can learn how to avoid making the same mistakes that they did, and we can find new and better ways to live our lives.

In Conclusion
Despite how we may define our values for success in life, having goals and routines that help us navigate our way can make all the difference.
Goals give us something to strive for, and routines help ensure that we're taking the necessary steps to reach those goals. Without goals, we may find ourselves drifting aimlessly through life. And without routines, it can be easy to get sidetracked and lose sight of your goals.
I hope this simple presentation was helpful to you on your journey!
