Write to a friend who is still looking at the intersection at the age of 30
A remarkable father told his daughter: You must be brave enough to try, and even if you find yourself back to the same place after many years, don't care.
No one ever told you that, and your parents only wanted you to be a regular person with a regular monthly salary and a pension when you get old, but there has been a defiant adventurer in your blood that has been jumping around from time to time, driving your soul and your actions since you don't know when. You decided at the age of thirty to develop your own vision of life.
After you turned thirty, you started to travel alone, in cities of civilization and in corners where you could not easily find your compatriots. You've driven through England and New Zealand, visited North Africa, the Middle East, and Paris. You love the different customs, and you've come to enjoy the solitude of being alone under the stars.
You vow to learn one new thing every year. In fact, what you start only at the age of thirty, no matter how well you can do it, will only be a hobby. But learning without regard to results is a joyful growth in itself. Over the years, you've studied oil painting, ceramics, photography, gotten your scuba diving license, danced flamenco for a few years, and gotten an additional master's degree. Why do you want to study all these things? Many people have asked you, you don't know, yet enjoy it, and you believe that learning itself is a treat.
You started to change careers. This was the year you crossed over to television, a wonderful chance. You had never aspired to appear on TV as a child, and never thought you would one day do so many commercials. At that time, everyone said that you wouldn't do too well, that the industry didn't match the image of the writer, and that you wouldn't fit in. In fact, at first you really do not adapt to, but the accumulation of strength depends on refinement. As long as you are not afraid, you can.
From that day on, you have not left the television circle. This is indeed a very deep destiny. Sometimes the repetitive work makes you a little impatient, but every time the lights come on, you enjoy it again.
You learn to tell yourself that even a composer can get bored with the notes that sound like bean sprouts one day; even a writer can get sick of what he or she writes for a while. If that's a job you don't hate, it's bound to have positive and negative effects, people you like and people you don't like, all the challenges you have to accept.
You'll say to yourself, "If you're not afraid, you can do it."
And "You can lose the battle, don't surrender before you fight. Since the age of 30, you use this phrase to encourage yourself, and still often say this to yourself.
The years can never be repeated. Although, many people like to ask me the question "If you could do it all over again, what would you do?
If I could do it all over again, I think I would still choose not to be afraid and always stay true to my choice. Even if it's the wrong choice, fall head over heels, but also to learn to stand up.
If I could do it over again, I would make more like-minded friends and know how to care for them, laugh or cry with them, and fight together for a common ideal. It is the most wonderful thing to have a friend with a heart of gold. In the eyes of a true friend, you will see your own value.
If I could do it all over again, I would manage my money well and not see looking at the accounts as an annoyance. This is your biggest weakness at thirty. In fact, accounts and money management are simple and fun, but unfortunately, you learned it after ten years and many lessons. When you were told this, you would think it seemed a bit "realistic", because you are a literary young man, although not to the point of not eating the world, but once you see the numbers, I do not know whether it is self-respect or not very patient reason, always tingling scalp.
Ten years later you understand that money management and time management actually have similarities and differences, are the most important modern management of their own homework. You don't need to calculate every cent, but to make all kinds of decisions rationally, to be able to control the flow of money and decide on investments with self-confidence. It's a fun thing to do and it will leave you worry-free.
One of the best things you do right at thirty is to try not to waste your life in unhappiness, that's the life turnaround.
Written for you at thirty, and for every thirty year old who thinks they've crossed the big hurdle in life and is still looking over their shoulder at the crossroads.
