The Most Common Myth We See At The Start Of Every Year That Sets Us Up For Failure
Perpetuated By New Year Resolutions And Challenges

We are about to enter a New Year!
I think we all know what this means...
There are about to be SO many Resolutions, Challenges, and Crazes unleashed upon the masses!
We're going to see them around Fitness!
There will be some around Nutrition!
Businesses will see them around Marketing!
My Email inbox has already seen them in droves, and they will only increase!
However, within these, we are about to see a gigantic Myth constantly flashing in front of our eyes.
This Myth is so pervasive that we don't even realize it is a Myth anymore!
We simply accept it - which makes it dangerous.
What makes it worse is that this Myth sets us up Psychologically for Failure when it comes to all of the things we are hoping to Achieve!
It sets us up for Failure in our Fitness Goals.
It sets us up for Failure in our Nutrition Goals.
It sets us up for Failure in our Business Goals.
What is the Myth that is SO common that we don't realize how Insideous it is?
The Myth of "After".
The ads all say, "If you just sign up for our 30-Day Challenge, you'll get AMAZING Results! - If you don't believe us, just look at this individual who After 30 days got XYZ Result!"
"Here's the Before! And Here's the After!"
Wow!
If they got "Those" Results in 30 days, it "MUST" work!
... Right?
Well, don't be so quick to be sure of that!
Now, I'm not saying you "can't" get awesome Results from doing these programs, and there are many great programs that exist!
Rather, it is the unspoken "Promise" of the "After" Result that is the Insidious Myth.
See, when you look at the Result of "After", there is a "Promise" that you will "Keep" that Result after the Challenge.
But is that what really happens?
How many people actually "keep" the Results that they Achieve?
In the long run, it is VERY FEW!
If you fast forward to the end of the year, how many of those individuals have regained all of the lost weight and stopped working out?
How many of those individuals have stopped being on their diet and put weight back on?
How many Businesses find themselves horribly struggling and thinking about closing at the end of the year?
If the programs are ACTUALLY good - Maybe only 50% have reverted.
However, it is far more common to have 80% - 100% of participants be back to where they started or WORSE!
It's why we see SO MANY people do the same "Challenge" year, after year, after year, after year never seeming able to "Keep" any Results!
Why?
It is because the Idea of "After" makes us think that it is the "End".
Once you reach the "End", you don't need to keep going.
However, when it comes to these things - Fitness, Nutrition, Businesses, and the Like - there is NEVER an "End".
There is no "After".
There's nothing wrong with joining these Challenges or Programs, just realize that "After" is a Myth.
If you want to "keep" your Results, understand that there is never an "End".
You must continue to do the Programs, likely for the rest of your life, if you Hope to maintain the Results.
If you stop working out, eventually you will lose all of your Fitness.
If you stop eating healthy food, eventually you will lose all your Health.
If you stop your Marketing Efforts, eventually you will lose all of your Business.
If you think there's an "After" where you can stop, then Psychologically you are setting yourself up for Failure.
Instead, you need to see these Challenges as a Starting Point.
The beginning of a Long-Term Change that you plan to continue LONG past the set "Time" of the Challenge.
Just remember, "After" is a Myth.

Good advice! The courage and grit to keep going is all 😁
You sir are speaking the ultimate truth! Keeping the result is usually wayyyy harder than achieving the result. Only the people who are extremely determined and dedicated would be able to maintain it as a lifestyle.
